Not a bad guy. Not even a little. But, you call anyone who trusts Kelly an idiot. Don't make it seem like we're the only emotional ones.

I've always said I think Kelly is the right guy, just that I also expected a bit more success at this point considering how talented our team is and that I can definitely understand people questioning him at this point. It's fair. He's on the biggest stage, he has a senior dominated team, he has the resume but yet his results have been average.

I've always said I'm behind him, but I don't have a problem with people raising questions.

I dont give a **** if our qb has 6 passing yards on 1/25 passing with 3 ints. If we win, all is fine with me. **** winning pretty. leave that to houston and boise

Glad we got the win despite no KLM, Ethan, and a hobbled Lynch. That's alot of fire power missing off the D Line. Add to that losing Cave on the OL and I'm feeling a little beter about getting out w the win. We're by no means a Championship team right now but we'll be better when healthy. Go Irish.

I don't blame admissions AT ALL. Last I checked, the 2nd rated RB, top rated WR, top rated QB, and a number of elite defensive players currently hold offers to ND. It is not the admissions.

I heard that they did lower admissions a little bit when Kelly got here

Nope!

A win is a win. Tommy Rees needs to get much better. But I was very impressed how we closed out the game running the ball on that last time. When was the last time you saw Notre Dame do that? Awesome.

Tommy Rees is now 10-2 as a starting QB at ND... he should be kicked out of school.

Like I said, I wasn't even born yet. What's your point though? Since there's an exception (Holtz) it then makes sense that Kelly is 13-8 at this point with a talented team? I think he's the guy, but I also thought we'd be better than about .500 against decent teams and have beaten at least one good team by now in year two.

The point? You ran your mouth as usual with no substance. You brought up Holtz and the level of talent. Then as usual when confronted with the truth the try to spin to a different subject.

Your team won and you spent 3 hours whinning and complaining.

Good grief, if one more person says the same old drivel about a win is a win, I'm going to punch my wall. It is exactly that attitude that is the matter with the team too. Winning should never be enough. Excellence, perfection, domination, that should be the goal of the team and the expectation of the fanbase. Winning 24-17 at Wake Forest should be a humiliation to these players and it should show. Instead, it'll be the same old: "a win is a win."

How about just about every single sophomore QB in the history of college football has had a lot of turnovers. He's completing 66% of his passes, so he's not throwing THAT many bad passes.

I don't know how many times I have to say it.... I'm open to hearing a valid, logical reason why Rees should be benched. But I'm not buying into it just because you(and others) make up your own sh!t that isn't grounded in any of Rees' statistics.

I gave you an important stat...turnovers, you give me competion %s then say you're not open to making up my own shi*t not grounded in any of his statistics? Really dude, did you fall off your rocker? Go check out his stats against every quality team he has been our QB against. What do you have to support that he is our best chance to win? What not made up sh*t is that based on?

Was Dayne's first half against USF worse than Rees' first half today? How about his first half against Pitt? How about his first half against USC?

First off, I said I wasn't even born yet when Lou took over, but I said I would guess that Kelly has more talent than Lou did during that time. And speaking about substance, I'm still waiting for your reply to Beamer vs. Kelly.

Relax buddy, like you said, our team won :)

And I didn't whine and complain, just gave some realistic point of view to a board with a heavy bias.

Wake Forest is a good team. They beat FSU this year and have been really tough. We beat them on the road. Go punch your wall.

You made a guess...you were wrong. He pointed it out and you got mad at him. What's your question again?

When did I get mad again? He seemed a bit more revved up than I did, taking a shot at my post's integrity. I don't recall doing that to him, but he's been here longer so I know where the allegiance will stand and I'm cool with that.

Agree. Tommy Rees is NOT good. He's incredibly limited.

Dont understand why the mods will be busy. Moose and others are very strong in their beliefs, as I am in what I have seen so far this year...but I think while heated debate nobody is crossing any lines.

By the way, as bad as the defense looked at times tonight, the end result 17 pts and less than 300 total yards. Deceptively very good game.

Dont worry, the night is still young. Someone will cross the line

It was a joke about having hot cheerleaders like Alabama. This board is so dense sometimes.
