Georgia always has these highly decorated OL's that peter out at the College level. His better option would be ND. Georgia is actually a decent school. Not in ND's class, but a good school still the same. If Marshall does pick UGA, I hope he insists on getting a meaningful degree.

The market value of a school's average undergraduate degree can be found here. Graduation rates for every school can be found here. A chart combining both can be found here.

An average Georgia graduate earns an extra $607,400 over the first 30 years after graduation. Georgia graduates 63% of its black football players. Therefore, Keith's expected 30y return on investment for committing to play for Georgia is $382,662.

An average Notre Dame graduate earns an extra $1,442,000 in the first 30 years. Notre Dame graduates 100% of its black football players. Therefore, Keith's expected 30y return on investment for committing to play for Notre Dame is $1,442,000.

In other words, a Notre Dame degree is worth: (1) $1,059,338; (2) $35,311/ year; or (3) nearly 3 times as much as a Georgia degree.

Add in a superior OL, more national exposure, etc. There's no case for Georgia over ND.

Interesting to see any stats we/any university could come up with to show earnings for football players specifically. Not sure if when you toss in the different major distribution for football and the NFL thing if it would help or hurt us. If it helped, we could show recruits. If not, we could just bury it with the 96-2009 game tape.

Was anyone aware that Kendal Moore went to the same high school as Keith? Good to hear.

Unfortunately, I think this is the case.

Still baffled by the staff's decision to stop pursuing Byron.

Academics. Not grades, credits. They didn't just all of a sudden stop liking him... they just weren't going to be able to get him in.

Looks like Georgia will be a 9 or 10 win team. Of course they play New Mexico State this weekend. They end with 3 straight home games and then a road game @ Georgia Tech. Only two of their games do they have any potential of losing. They have Auburn at home and @ Georgia Tech. Let's hope some kind of miracle happens and they lose to NMSU this weekend. Of course Florida couldn't hold on this past weekend.

Georgia avoids having to play Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas in the regular season. Who'd they have to pay for that?

Yeah they lucked out this season. I wonder when we are going to get some good recruiting news? It has been awhile.

I really don't think these kids are making their decisions based off of one or two wins or losses...

In this case wins means everything to Georgia. If mark Richt gets fired, Marshall would most likely be Irish. But, if Georgia keeps winning, which means Richt keeps his job, Marshall is all UGA.

Think it has crossed his mind that Richt could be fired AFTER he commits? GA could have a terrible season next year (or the year after, etc) and fire the coach.

I think it's a terrible idea to pick a school solely on coaching staff. There isn't a guarantee that the staff you commit to will be around throughout your entire college career.

Exactly what I was trying to say without saying it. I swear if I post something on this site it seems to get ripped apart no matter what. People need to settle down a little bit holy ****. I guess I'll start writing a book for every post.

Richt was definitely on the hot seat. Losing the first two games of the season and the past several years of under performing. 10 wins in a row will probably ease that.

Just seems like everything is so negative. Yeah that's my little boy. He's not so little anymore. I believe I took this picture around the Sun Bowl last year. He's going to be 1 in 27 days. Time goes by so fast.

I need to get a new picture of him up.
