Yeah it looked like they worked him over pretty good before he was shot or whatever actually killed him.

One of the ships I was stationed on while in the Navy was in the JFK Battle Group for this incident:

Thats what they get! Never heard of this incident. I was 1 years old when it happened. lol. Very weird that the Libyan Migs turned at our boys 5 times? Why? Ever more strange that they didnt try to rescue the pilots. Smells like they were trying to get us to do that... hmmm?

At the time, it was pretty weird. We kept zig-zagging over his "Line of Death". I suppose we were egging him on, and never thought that he'd have the balls to do something about it. That could explain why they went after the Tomcats.

I thought I'd see this guy go after we determined he had ties to Lockerbie...Did they kill that guy BTW?

Anyway, I will say, having him savaged in the street is not my idea of justice...Even when you kill someone, there is a high ground so to speak..and sure, there is a purpose in showing him dead...but this was just bad.
