Can anyone give the gist?
Nothing to it, a small blurb that mentions visiting for the ND-USC game.

It's more about assuring UF fans that he's not going to visit other in-state schools.

I don't know about the slant of the article but it comes off to me like Tee saying he wants to take advantage of his officials for mini vacations to see some games.

So would we use Brian as a safety considering we already have Ron and Tee?

I don't think so. Poole is just as much of a stud as Tee and Darby. If we get him, combined with our Dline, our defense will be unstoppable in 3-4 years.

I know he is a stud, but it's hard to have all 3 guys play at the same time at the same position, and Brian is the best suited for safety, correct?

If Kelly gets Brian and Shaq to commit, maybe one of them goes to the offensive side of the ball. They both have experience over there.

If anyone of those four moved to Offense it would have to be Ron, I would think.

Let's say we get them all....

If Tee stays at corner: Tee, Darby, Poole at corner, Shaq and Proise at Safety. Sorry, just don't see Turner fitting in here. Maybe move to LB.

If Tee goes to safety (a lot of talk about him being better here):

Poole, Darby at CB. Tee and Shaq at Safety. WOW!

Nicky Baratti is at Safety as well.

If Shaq and Poole commit on top of Darby and Tee, I personally think Baratti moves to LB.

If that were the case, I see:

CB: Darby, Tee-Tee, Poole
S: Shaq Attack, Prosise, Turner

Baratti moving to LB and Eilar Hardy remaining at CB, which I think he will, anyway.

That's wouldn't be a problem as multiple DB's are needed as the spread becomes more and more prevalent.

Defenses aren't in there base defense very often because teams are spreading it out throwing more than ever and because of that teams are in Dime or Nickle packages more often than not

We face a lot of teams that don't play the spread though. We could have them all as the 1, 2 and nickel man, sure, but currently I think we need help at safety. Don't forget we have guys we recruited last year to play CB too. They're good in their own right. We don't have as many proven safeties after this year though.

Included on that list is standout cornerback Brian Poole of Southeast High in Bradenton, Fla. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Poole, a four-star prospect, is committed to Florida.

"As far as I know he is (still committed)," Southeast coach Paul Maechtle said Tuesday.

Poole a few weeks ago went to Maechtle and asked him to contact certain schools about setting up official visits. Some had filled up their slots at cornerback. Notre Dame took the call.

"I really don't know the answer (why he is visiting) other than the fact that they may need a corner that can play early and maybe he sees that as a way," Maechtle said.

Notre Dame has commitments from two cornerbacks -- Tee Shepard and Ronald Darby. Shepard also can play safety, while there have been recent rumblings about Darby visiting Maryland.
