I didn't say anything about the mental disablilities thing. I would by no means EVER accept someone talking about someone like that. I was making a general statement about why one teams fans or fan would dislike another player from another team.

Wasn't direct towards a certain poster or post.

Yeah, that part of it shouldn't have been directed at you.... I have another post to make. My apologies.

This kid has me banging my head against a wall right now. The message he's making is wrong on every level of ethical civility.

It's all good, I understand trying to read and understand the context of a post can be hard over the internet. I try to write in a way that is as simple and easily understandable as possible but sometimes it doesn't always come off that way.

Just an off topic thing that semi relates to the topic. I just got married and so my now Uncle-in-Law has a mental disability. He is 50+ and still lives with his mother. His own family at times tease him but he doesn't understand because he isn't that quick to catch on. But every single time I am at a gather with their family he walks up and engages me in conversation. At times he can be funny in the sense that he will say something like "The Colts look terrible this year" then I will reply " Yeah they really aren't bad just need a QB" then he will change his whole stance and say "Yeah I really like the Colts they could be good".

I'll just laugh but still treat him as a human and have real conversations with him. Just a small story, sorry made this post real when it was suppose to be about Michigan vs. Michigan St. My bad, just thought I would share though.

At the end of the day we're all adults discussing kid(s) in college. Either you can handle that in perspective or you can spike trees with herbicide. The path you take is up to you.

That's cool. I guess I just get tender sometimes as I work with individuals with Autism between the ages of 14-19 on a daily basis. Sometimes it just hits way to close to home for me. Thanks Brah....

Slim to none because to bowl tie-ins.

Providing a Big 10 team doesn't end up #1 or #2:

Big 10 #1 goes to Rose Bowl - Wisconsin
Big 10 #2 goes to Capital One vs SEC #2 BUT an 11-1 Michigan goes to Fiesta AT LARGE.
So Capital One takes Nebraska
Big 10 #3 goes to Outback vs SEC
Big 10 #4/5 goes to Gator vs SEC

Meineke AND Insight Bowls have tie-ins with BIG 12 and BIG 10

For UM and ND to meet some conference has to fail to meet their obligations while the same bowl gets UM.

By the way, Sagarin's PREDICTOR Model as of Oct 10 has UM a 1-1/2 point favorite over ND on a neutral field. He has UM ranked 9th and ND 12th. It could be an interesting match up but seems unlikely. Still, lots of season to go.

The posts on that theme were inappropriate.

It's amazing how people express relief about finding IE and pointing out how they couldn't stand the smack on Rivals and other boards then they post that kind of crap here.

I have to agree. It already feels like we haven't played for 2 weeks to me, but maybe thats because USC is on the plate next and that game seems like forever away.

My deepest apologies. I was joking at first and my hatred for Michigan bled into it. I realize it was in bad taste,apologize again to those whom I offended,and as penance,will not come on this site to vent if, God forbid, the skunkbears win.

Unfortunately I think Michigan is going to win. I want Msu to beat the tar out of Michigan but Michigan seems to always find a way to win and it P I S S E S me off. They have so much luck. Even though State has won 3 in a row, Michigan will win.

Doesn't Michigan winning give us a good chance of having gameday in SB next week?

Then, you have WI playing unranked MSU or 24th ranked Auburn playing #1 LSU.

Or do we have no shot at gameday so we might as well hope MSU wins?
