6'4" and 4.45 speed and he's not even a junior yet? Nice.

Fulwood Hopes To See ND

Christian McCollum ISD
8/23/11

He made it to UTN camp this summer but not to ND. But his QB did and filled him in.

Fulwood has crossed Miami off his list.

Clemson and Florida are the definite front runners but he does have legit interest in ND and wants to visit this Spring per 247.

10 days later his top 5 is Arkansas, Bama, Clemson, Ohio State and UGA with UF and ND "on the bubble."

Ahh recruiting.

I get where your coming from.
He was all UF till Charles left.
Now hes all about Sammy Watkins and Clemson.

Seems like an impressionable kid. I'll go out on a lengthy limb and predict his recruitment has a loooonnnggg way to go. Plenty of time for people to move around and make an impression on him in the next 12 months.

NOTRE DAME HARD TO IGNORE FOR FULWOOD’S MOM: Terri Fulwood admittedly doesn’t know much about the game of football, but it didn’t her take long to realize the type of opportunities the game would afford her son, 2013 Florida wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood.

Fulwood (pictured) already has one of the most impressive offer sheets in the Class of 2013 with offers from Notre Dame, Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, Miami, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC, Georgia, Clemson, Arkansas and Auburn among several others. He recently tweeted that Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State were his top five, but that the Irish and Florida were also in there as well.

From what Fulwood’s mother understands, Notre Dame is a school her son needs to look at.

“I hear they have an excellent alumni base,” she said. “I hear that once you go there to visit, you don’t want to go to any other school because it’s impressive and beautiful. That’s what I’ve heard.”

Terri is hopeful her and her son will have the chance to see it for themselves soon.

“Hopefully sometime this year,” she said. “I’d love to go up to Notre Dame and check it out.”

Terri said education will definitely be first when it comes to her son’s decision with football coming in next. She’ll let Ahmad evaluate the football programs, but would like to meet the men in charge of those programs.

“I really can’t talk football because I really don’t know the game, but I guess I’d like to meet the coaching staff and see what their philosophy is,” she said. “I’d like to see the graduation rate; I’m definitely going to see that. And I guess what their needs are. I assume they have needs for a receiver, that’s why they’re recruiting him.”

Just about every program in the country has a need for a player like Fulwood.

His mom may care about academics and graduation rate, but it is clear by his top 5 that the athlete doesnt... Maybe mom will be more influential down the road.

Per 247

Just got back from Florida visit.

Said it was great seeing Florida

Mom gave it 10 out of 10.

"I think the educational part is big."

Both feel really comfortable and really like positions coach Aubrey Hill.

Florida commit, Nick Washington, is good friends with Ahmad and is working him.

Discussed Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, and USCal as schools in the mix.

No ND mention.

Always funny when education is a priority and all we see in the top list are SEC schools. I would love to hear their education pitch someday. Seems like a good laugh.
