That Jamoris Slaughter and Chris Watt are having quietly solid seasons so far?

You rarely hear Watts name mentioned, which is a good thing for an o-lineman. Slaughter has been real solid in his coverage and hasn't made an glaring mistakes like he did last year.

You're right. Both guys have been solid thus far. I think all the attention so far has been talking about the things that haven't gone so well like turnovers. It's unfortunate but I thinkwe stop these crazy turnovers and start winning games soundly thus allowing everyone to talk about the good things our guys are doing on the field.

I predicted Slaughter to start over Motta before the depth chart came out, soley on the fact that Motta's too slow, and it shows when he's in there. I feel like although Slaughter starts, Motta plays almost if not more than half of the game. Does anyone feel this way?

Slaughter is the nickel back for the most part so Motta comes in at safety whenever the nickel package is needed. Maybe Golson is the answer.

I disagree. I think you see Motta more on TV, because he is getting beat more often. Slaughter is playing a lot of man when Motta is in and not getting beat, which is why he doesn't flash as much.

Slaughter has had some big hits this season...very excited for him. And he has one of the coolest names on the team. :)

That hit on the MSU reciever was a huge momentum builder. I believe we had just scored and that was to get the defense back off the field on a third down.

He's been playing very well. And we need him to be big time next year. He will be the backbone of the secondary

Slaughter has a lot of talent. He's got to stay healthy for a whole season for once.

The staff's plan all along was to have them play equal amounts of snaps and that has been the case so far.

When you don't notice an o-lineman it usually means he is doing his job.
