Your Hobbies Besides Irish Football

Spring and summer I'm fishing, playing/ coaching baseball, and farming. Then in the fall, when not watching ND, I'm in the tree stand deer hunting or studying my life away pursuing my Biology/ Pre-Med degree. Seeing how many fly fishermen are on this thread I was wondering, me and some friends were thinking about planning a fishing trip this spring where are some good places to go fly fishing at?

Really though, I'll occasionally toss out a 2/0 gamakatsu on some 20lb powerpro with a 20lb flouro leader... yeah I love to fish. Love fantasy football, hiking, snowboarding, competitive dart throwing, and occasionally I dabble in recreational games of chess vs my phone. I've only ever won once.

I have also done my fair share of big game hunting back in good 'ol NM.

That was me at 14 with my two younger brothers. I bagged my first deer at 10. This guy here was my second bull elk.

I started to write my hobbies and for some reason that song popped into my head.

My wife and I like to spend weekends at the beach with our dog Jack (smartest dog in the world), I golf and fish when I can, I watch a lot of baseball(GO GIANTS) and football(GO 49ERS!) and of course Notre Dame football GO IRISH!

Trying to raise four kids to be Notre Dame football fans. Only one will watch the games with me, and he says Dame reminds him of the Cubs. They consistently figure out new ways to lose when it looks impossible. But maybe the Irish have turned the corner with that big win over MSU. ... Other passions: White Sox baseball, beer, Kessler's whisky, the stock market and books.

Also love spending time with kids in the family, nephews and nieces and cousins and friends' kids, etc. Nothing better than kids for me. Got my first coming in about 3 weeks!!!

The wife and I like to spend our free time at our cabin in the mountains and also going to hockey games (GO KINGS!).

Recently, I started a new hobby. I restore antique hand tools. It has become a bit obsessive. I scour thrift shops and antique stores and yard sales looking for old, rusted, dirty old hand tools and then I bring them back to life. Planers are fun and I also like old hand drills. Axes and hatchets are fun too.
