Sergio ended up with 7 tackles, 5 of which were solo, to go along with his pick.

Had a big interception for us down in the red zone, stepping in front of a Rivers throw to Gates. Was a big point in the game, as a SD touchdown would have cut NE's lead to six.

Anyone see the horrible Pass interference Sergio made on the once Notre Dame verbal and former Gator player David Nelson yesterday. That was a horrible job of finding a severely under thrown ball by Brown and holding Nelson in the end zone. Cost the Pats a pick and the game. I hate the Pats, so I'm happy they lost, but that was a horrible play by Brown.

Seems like there's a lot of Sergio threads, but this was the most recent one. In case anyone wasn't aware, he's been starting for the Colts defense. They just beat the Bengals in the first round playoff game, saw this in my Facebook feed:

Part of me wonders how Sergio is starting for the Colts. I don't remember him being that good in college, but then again he had the misfortune of suiting up for a Weis defense.

I loved Sergio at ND and with the Pats. Of all of the ND alums in the NFL, I think he's the one I'm most surprised is getting consistent PT in the league. That sounds like an insult (and I guess it is), but he was just barely a starter here, so I didn't expect much from him at the next level. So glad he's been able to stay in the league this long though. He is the man on special teams, and solid on D.
