I know there are strong family connections, but Neuheisel isn't exactly inspiring confidence right now. Chances of him returning as the head coach next year are not good, and when you're yelling, "I can't be the only one that cares!" at practice...

We go 5-2 through USC and who knows. Lot of football to be played.
If we get Shaq and Baratti to go with Darby and Shephard.... wow. I think Baratti's raw athletic ability is vastly underrated right now by most services.

Absolutely.
But if our main competitors are UCLA (coach will get fired) and Cal (hot seat, at least), I like our chances with a strong visit.

We had two in the 2010 class, but Giovanni Bernard bailed after Weis was fired.

Any top 2 without Cal is bogus. That's why I'm saying UCLA and ND have never been his top 2, no matter what is being written out there.
As would I. He's a special, special prospect who's a game changer from day 1.
IMO he's Manti's equivalent at S. It would be that big of a get IMO.
Watch him play and it's hard not to think that he's not going to be elite NFL S let alone a good college player, that's how special this kid is at least IMO that is.
