Thanks, I already took my medicine today. I feel fine, and am not upset in the least. There are two kind of guys that would call H. Smith hayseed. Those that want to yank my chain, which I find funny also, and the other. But they don't pi$$ me off, either.

Love that picture, but kinda feel bad for the quaterback... I guess he found out what it's like to get hit by a freight train.

That QB is skinny. He probably snapped like a twig when Tuitt drove him into the turf.

KLM played pretty well last night but you can't tell me Tuitt isn't capable of spelling either KLM or Ethan Johnson. same with Lynch

KLM was very good last night. Ethan Johnson has no idea how to disengage from a block. Tuitt/Lynch can/will take over for Johnson, but KLM is still better overall. Pass rusher downs, KLM and EJ should be on the sidelines IMO.

it's time to look to the future. Ethan s/b giving Tuitt breathers. stop the veteran bullsht coach kelly. did either lynch or tuitt see a snap last night?

I may have missed one or two defensive snaps and I didn't see either.

I don't remember seeing any of the Frosh for that matter, and I'm not going to try hard to remember as I've already worked hard at repressing the whole damned event.

also, time to start doing a little more stunting up front like they were doing to us last night...i don't care how good of an o line you are, that's confusing and screws things up regardless of what scheme you run (outside of the triple option)

You should get into coaching.

EJ and KLM played great last night in my opinion. Unless the starters were gassed, there's no reason to put in 2 inexperienced freshman against the most mobile QB in the nation. From the sound of it their biggest weaknesses are discipline and containment so I'm guessing D Rob would run wild on them.

In all seriousness, how much worse could it have been?

You do realize Notre Dame played p.e.r.f.e.c.t defense through three quarters right? You couldn't have asked them to do a better job up to that point.

KLM dominated from my viewing. Considering that Notre Dame allowed six yards on ten carries to Michigan's running backs, I think we can assume the entire DL dominated. Denard got his rushing yards in huge chunk plays that happen because he is, well, amazing at running the ball. He didn't churn out sizable yardage consistently like he does against worse teams.

Then keep in mind that the Irish defense forced a ton of short drives. The Michigan offense was nowhere to be found for the majority of the game. This resulted in low snap counts by the Irish DL so they were still fairly fresh at the end of the game. As fresh as Lynch and Tuitt would have been? No way but still plenty in the tank.

You would be the coach who, with two senior DE's who are dominating (or at a very minimum doing quite well) and still pretty fresh, decides to put in two true freshmen against the most prolific quarterback since Mike Vick..with the game on the line? If so, you have a great set of gonads, but it is simply the wrong decision.

Anyone know what team rule Stephon broke that made him not able to make this week's game?

Please tell me it involved a blow up doll and climbing the dome.

That was an isolated incident, and I wish I could take it back. Seriously, I hope it was nothing major for Stephon.
