One big thing i got from that is that he said weather is not a concern, although the quote of the night was definantly, Coach, would you rather play Florida or Alabama in the Sugar bowl, "Neither, the Sugar Bowl isnt where the National Championship is this year"

When asked if he favored BCS or playoff, I loved how he responded in a robot voice "I. Currently. Favor. The. B.C.S." LOL

I got a question in again tonight on the hype surrounding this game and how he avoids getting sucked into it. He responded by saying he's still trying to get the football team's identity and can't focus on a rivalry so early on. Also, I loved the dig at CW, even though I liked CW, about wearing hoodies.

I donno what happened. I tried to watch it last night, but it wouldn't play for whatever reason. When I went back on today, there is only the podcast available for download, which is about 59 minutes altogether, but the first little bit is all commercials, about 5 minutes of it. So it appears as if they edited it in some way, and did not allow it to play on UND last night. So there may be something to your thought process.

My girlfriend knows insanely little about Notre Dame, she loves football but never really paid attention. After dating me and being around my affinity for the Irish, she says the other night to some friends of ours that asked her what she planned on doing when I watched the games... she replied " Watch the game....why would anyone not like Notre Dame, they graduate their players, and stand for something!" I have never been so proud in my life... I am sure she developed this new found fandom as a survival technique.

As I have told my fiancé many many many times before..."when you marry me, you are marrying Notre Dame football." Needless to say she has become a huge fan.

I went to the radio show last year, my mom works at Legends, and I got to meet coach Kelly and talk to him a little bit. He's a really nice guy, loves where he is, and his kids are hilarious. I also got a mini helmet signed, it's now my prize possession

And I feel yours my man...My only commiseration is this board and the destruction of my brain.

In the fall, I am not married. Only Irish football is there for me and I don't care to share it with my wife. Just how I feel.. besides my wife doesn't need to see me punch myself. Sometimes that **** happens. The USF game for sure.

Coach Kelly said on the show tonight that he will be playing Hendrix or Golson in the Air Force game at some time. I am thinking he hinted that it would be Hendrix because he said the one that won"t probably play was running the scout Air Force Offense.
