You said: Michigan fans stake their entire season on whether or not they beat ND
I hate to burst your bubble but NO..we dont. The ND game is a big game because of the ND lore. It is in the beginning of the year so it is see as a first "test" if we are on the right track...thats about it. I can say that I view ND as a "good' team even when they under preform.

I hate to burst yours....BUT...yes, yall do. Maybe you personally, don't, but the other Michigan fans do, they lose to MSU and their favorite line is "AT LEAST WE BEAT ND" I also don't watch just Michigan and ND, I watch all the football I can, except for NFL. How do you figure that beating ND is Michigan being "on the right track" last year? You FAILED to beat all but 1 of the teams you played in your own conference! The only reason you beat Illinois is because their defense was just as horrible as yours. Saying you were better than ND in 2010 when you finished the regular season 7-5 and choked on your bowl game...really means nothing. NOTHING. But if you were "on the right track" last year after you beat ND, then you should have beaten the rest of your schedule, except for OSU because they own yall. And PS, I'm a chick. Not a "dude".
You said: if Michigan were as good as they "think" they are they should have pulled off wins against MSU, WI, Penn st, Iowa, and OSU...and they didn't.
Dude...do you realize you lost to Navy...a service academy that has hight and weight limitations...that don't recruit at all...WOW! Also didn't you guys get caught with your pants down by MSU on that last play? that was a classic!
Again, typical Michigan talking points. Avoiding the obvious and the subject. Then when I said Michigan beat, Bowling Green, UMASS, and Connecticut YOU came at me with the W is a W. As a division 1 school who thinks it's the best program in the NCAA the attitude should be different. Michigan also did not beat one ranked opponent all season last year. Michigan is NOT as good as they THINK they are. I am not making excuses for ND. We beat Utah which was a big game, and I was there with my son, it was his first game, but winning that ONE game that was a great win for us, but it doesn't negate the mistakes on the field in previous games. The MSU game was a classic, I can't even get mad about it, because that was a fantastic, ballsy, gutsy call and it worked. Our boys were asleep on the job. And let's get real...a 24-28 game between Michigan and ND...yes it was a W for Michigan, but it's not like you smoked us up and down the field. Both teams looked pretty bad at times, it's not like you guys came in and took us to school like Mississippi St did to yall, I bet you can still taste the chalk dust from them banging the erasers on your heads. Bottom line is, Michigan was mediocre last year. Expect the same this year.
