I was looking strictly at CBs. I do think if Cal tanks and we have a big year we get Shaq; but you can't count on either of those.

Deciding at 10 am. Looks like PSU our ND IMO, with scUM having outside shot.

happen to know a bunch of folks with links to the Catholic school conference in MA - no one knows for sure where he's going, but the sense is that PSU is a likely pick. Apparently his best friend at CM is Camren Williams, who is going to PSU and will be there at the press conference.

Its not that I don't like them. I HATE them! Everything about their team, their school, their coaches, and especially their fans. They are the absolute worst. It all goes back to grade school, when ND was awful under Faust and State Penn had our number. My family hates them almost as much as I do though. I do have some relatives who are fans and every get together has a few little ND-P$U arguments.

Penn State is getting nothing but our unwanted scraps. If they get Noah Spence, then I will have to change my opinion.

I wouldn't call these players scraps. ND would have taken Schutt if they didn't have Day. Schutt doesn't meet all their criteria like Day did, but if Day didn't decide for ND then IMO Schutt would have been welcomed. Armani is a great player and ND would have loved to have him.

Now that PSU has Schutt and Reeves, ND needs to get Spence and Jones.

You could say this about any player in the country. We would have taken player X if we hadn't gotten player Y. If we didn't get player X or Y, we would have taken Z. And so on. If we didn't get Lynch and Tuitt we probably would have taken a couple of other D-linemen that aren't as good. I don't know how the fact that would have taken him if we hadn't got the player we actually wanted changes anything.
