I think it's still in trial phase, and they've locked-out any new users, even if you have an invite.

I'm not on either Facebook or Google+, but supposedly G+ lets you limit the info you share with different social groups, and allows for video conferencing and multi-user (more than 2) interaction.

My understanding is that they started letting people with invites join again a few weeks ago, so if you still want one, irishog77 (or anyone else for that matter), pm me your email and I can send you an invite. Also, Houstonian is correct, it allows for group video conferencing and allows you to create groups with whom you share certain information (facebook has this too, but it isn't as well integrated).

I have a G+ too. I had Facebook but got rid of it because I wasn't doing anything on it. I would just sit and stare at the screen trying to figure out something exciting about it but gave up.

I'm about at the same stage with Goggle+. I tried it at least. lol That stuff just doesn't excite me much but I understand why people love it.

If anyone wants in, pm me. I'm still not overly impressed. It's like a facebook-skype hybrid in a sense. However, since you can import your facebook contacts to skype, I fail to see how this brings anything new to the table. I feel like Google is becoming like the 1990's Microsoft. Maybe some trust busting is in store in the future?

From what I hear, Google+ is still only in it's very early (read: primitive) stages. There are plans for LOTS of cool add-ons and functions to be added later (and no, I don't mean Farm-Ville or 20 Questions). I'm going to stick with Google+ for awhile and see if they actually deliver on any of these promises...

It's also hard to really get things going and be able to fully appreciate everything you can do with Google+ when no one is there, haha.

G+ allows invite through links now on top of email. Each link allows 150 people to sign up. Here is one from my account. Mods, you can scan and verify this is not a virus or spyware. It is a link to my account, and invite.
