Coach Kelly will address the crowd sometime during the basketball game versus UCLA. Probably at halftime, I expected this to be far different from his PC. I am sure we will a glimpse of what kind of motivator he is.

Kelly's been getting some serious "face time" this week. He's been making sports talk shows as frequently as a Hollywood celebrity hit the TV talk show when they have a new movie about to release. Kelly doesn't have much recruiting staff and no bowl team for the media to cover but he's getting ND's name (and his) out to the recruits (and fans).

I think thats what our players need!! We have not had a coach that speaks and shows emoution on the sidelines for a long time get the players pumped!!!!!

For 5 years I sat in the seat immediately behind CW and Maura at BB games... with the remodel they move me back about 6 rows... :-(

Leana (usher) sat in the box next to CW and shoed people away... only allowing autographs during half-time. Got to know her after 5 years.

Instead of sitting next to me (as in old arena configuration) they moved Dr. Ferlich (team doctor in the home games at Joyce) in front of me 2 rows...

At UCLA game Ferlich was in CW's old seats... and Leana was protecting a block of 8 seats where Ferlich had started the season. She kept those seats conspiculously empty and when she said HI to me after the first half I pointed at the empty seats and she winked....

She sat at the end of the row looking up the aisle the whole game. No one ever showed.

However, now I'm even more psyched for the basketball season after signing day - Charlie rarely missed a game - hope BK follows suit.
