i could see him as a very late 2nd rounder to undrafted. I'll think he'll have a fine career as a backup as long as hes not asked to do much defending. Not that he's a bad defender I just don't think he's quick enough to stick with the faster point guards in the leauge.

Should have a GREAT international career if he wants to go that route. Don't expect him to get drafted... maybe really late second round by a team like Miami.

Look at it this way Buster...if he went to Miami at least he would win some rings

Obviously his stocked dropped in the Big East Tourney and the NCAA Tourney...maybe somebody takes a chance on him, look at what Barea did for the Mavs at only 6-0 (listed height, looks like 5-10ish).

I agree 100%, Barea helped Ben's stock. If you can drive and dish, and shoot the J, size at that position isn't as important.

Ben actually has good size for a PG at 6'2" to 6'4".... the problem is that he isn't super quick, can't elevate, isn't an elite passer and isn't a great ball handler either. He has a good all-around skill set but no really 'elite' characteristics as a PG and is probably too small to play SG.

The best thing he has going for him is that he can play defense on (most) NBA PGs pretty effectively (as demonstrated in his ability to battle with Kemba Walker and win), he is competitive enough to improve his game, he is a good kid (read: very low probability of legal troubles or being a "black eye" for the franchise) and he has NBA range on his 3.

I think he can make a roster and possibly even become a good rotation player. But I think he could absolutely dominate abroad where there isn't the hyper-athleticism to deal with.

You cant compare the two... Barea is SUPER quick and has a knack for the circus shot. Hansbrough is more of a shooting guard then a point. He is a career backup and a international stud.

He is just what the Pacers need (sarcasm). At least you always know which direction Larry Legend will go in the draft...

Here's to Ben proving everyone wrong and accomplishing more than we could ever imagine.

Ben has signed a one year deal with a high level team in Munich, Germany.

He turned down offers from several NBA teams to go to training camp.

Sounds like Carleton Scott will wait for the NBA lockout to end and hopes to sign with a NBA team.

Again Scott is making a questionable decision while Hansbrough is making a good one. Ben realizes there will be no summer league to show off his skills so why take the chance? He's now guaranteed to make money for a decent club in Germany for a year while Scott will have to wait for who knows how long. I really question who is advising this kid.

It's probably better money wise to go to Europe than play in the NBA. Only the best players earn more than they could in Europe. That's why Josh Childress left the NBA for a year to play in Greece.

Scott should never have left.
And Hansborough should've played in the Portsmouth to raise his draft stock

Ben is now backing up George Hill for the Pacers. Quite a climb for him in the last two years.
