You have been staying in South bend since graduation...what do you see as the overall team attitude and how does it differ from say...the 09 season?

If the bolded part is true, it isn't Kamara. I know for sure that Brian Smith stayed in South Bend, and I'd guess that Allen did too so he could continue working with DSeason. Probably one of those two.

lol and the next question talks about Rees staying calm in the huddle, so I'd go with AA.

The last game in which Allen carried was Navy. He dressed for Tulsa so he could run out of the tunnel one last time, but he never got on the field.

So unless Rees impressed the hell out of him during that one drive against Navy, I don't know how AA would be able to comment on Rees' poise in-game.

DSeason is terrible. And I like all of the players involved.

IT'S NOT REAL. HE DID NOT TALK TO ANYONE.

5. What player do you think will break out this season!.....

-TOMA....he is ready!...extreme talent!....He is in my opinion the best slot receiver on the team!... Nobody can cover him....You need 6 yards...run a slant with Toma and you'll get 10!...He's gonna be a common name around college football this season!.....
****this is not the first time I've heard this!....Toma has impressed EVERYONE!...He is gonna be a force this season!....

Read the whole thing. I know Riddikulous posted most of it, but it sure follows a lot of what I heard. Funny thing is most people get shouted down when they bring up Toma. Why would this player leap to mind first?

"Extreme" talent? BS.
Best slot receiver? Total BS.
No one can cover him? BS.
Will get national recognition? BS.

And then there's the "he can turn a six yard slant into a ten yard gain" comment. I can't remember a single play where Toma made a short pass into a long gain via juke, spin, cut, etc.

I love Toma. He's a warrior. But he's not an elite player. In five starts last year while filling in for an injured and/or hobbled Riddick, Toma caught only 13 passes. At best he'll end up with like 200-300 yards this year.

I was merely pointing out an inconsistency in his post. Even if he's pretending to interview Allen, it wouldn't make much sense for AA to have a strong opinion about Rees.

I hadn't even read his blog before I posted that. His old source many of us on ISD thought was Kamara. BUt yeah, judging from that stuff, it definitely wouldn't be Kamara for this one. Plus he said he never talked to him before last night.

Having read that, it was the same ol' same ol'. Still cool as long as you know the dude is PLASTERED in green Kool-aide. And there's nothing wrong with that. He's one of ours and he love the Irish. He isn't killing anyone, just overly excited about his team. I know what he says means nothing, so it doesn't realy bother me personally.

Was it ACamp? Anybody that roots for the Angels should instantly become a suspect. Just sayin'...

By the way, I love exclamation points too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell, we keep throwing names out there...What about Chris Stewart? The article for sure has an offensive side of the ball slant.

Stop saying like you know this for a fact when you don't. At all. No matter how idiotic he came off, he certainly did talk to a player, he knows a **** ton of them. my guess is Ian Williams because he is a family friend I am pretty sure.

And btw, I'm not even gonna read the article because everything Dame Fan does sounds exactly the same. But it is real.

The Blog is legit.

He is over the top. But its on purpose. He gets most of the ND fanbase fired up in a good or bad way. Its just depends on how you look at it.

He knows a lot of the players families, and does some financial work for the ND staff.

I can assure you that his source and many of the other players/former players have said the samething about Dayne/Rees/Toma/Weis/Kelly etc...Just because it doesnt sound like it could be true means it cant be? There has been a lot of things happen inside the Gug the last 4 years that most wouldnt believe.

The most important thing is that ND is moving forward. Props to DameFans blog...not everyday someone makes it on a the front of a michigan boards front page lol.

Theres plenty of people on facebook that "interact" with the players. You see the same annoying names on every status players put up "interacting" with them lol.

DameFan actually knows the kids and their families, so that is what I classify as interacting bc he actually knows them haha. The other "interaction" is what The Turning Point page was created for lol

no i know what you're saying...i have seen the kids partying it up on boats and stuff, going to his house(not talking about when Kelly took them) and with him being a financial advisor having money it could always lead to more...im just saying i just don't want to EVER have ND have to deal w. what Auburn,OSU,Bama etc....

I hope our compliance department is all over DomerFan like white on rice. His life will be in danger if he harms the program.

that's what i'm saying....having pics of many current players in your home...you have a lot of money(guessing by size of house, financial advisor, stuff) and is a HUGE fan and you write a blog..$ exchange for memorabilia, stories/interviews etc...

I don't think you can keep players from having friends outside of football. It is also Notre Dame, if you don't have a scholarship, you probably come from money, for the most part. So why not enjoy it with others. Also, I don't think he talks to them for interviews but rather he talks to them about the program then shares with the rest of the fan base.

I could see how it could look bad, especially with what the rest of the college footbal world is going through. But it seems harmless.

Edit: I didn't look at his page thoroughly and notice he is not a current student. At least he does not seem like one. Either way. He could still be a friend with out being anything else.

I posted this here because this was originally about a "damefan blog" post, and I wanted to see what you guys thought about damefan post that TP linked on facebook tonight. The full post is here (and most of it is good stuff, FWIW, and I'd recommend checking it out).

But one thing in the "Anonymous and Unfiltered" part (which is supposedly e-mails with anonymous 2013 recruits) stood out to me:

3. Where do you see ND being by the time your a Jr. or Sr.?

-I see us being contenders year in and year out, with the strength of schedule a 9-10 win season this year looks really good and will let everyone know we are back....then my class can come in and help out...

I'm on record as believing that ND can win 9 or 10 games, but I don't necessarily want to bet the recruiting class on it. If that is the expectation that the coaches are selling, I'll also take that as a good sign, I guess. But this class has seemed unbelievably solid to me, and I'd hate to think it could or would fall apart if ND "only" wins eight (or even seven) games considering the schedule we're playing and the expectations that a lot of people seem to have.
