I put this video together of Old School and New School football highlights, partially for myself to enjoy and because I like to video editing, also. I have another 40 more minutes or so not including this of nothing but highlights. I know alot of highlight films have filler scenes, i.e the crowd, celebrations, same play multiple times, etc. I just wanted to put together a highlight film of nothing but highlights. (nothing against the other ones I love those too) Sorry for the quality, on the next one I will try to make it better.

LOL yeah I can, I just went to some page for best "pump up songs" and picked three random ones and went from there.

I tell ya, one thing that really stands out is what speed can do. With this year's recruits, and hopefully next year's, I hope we see more of those break open/out run everybody kind of plays.

There was nothing more exciting that Rocket's first two or three steps when those afterburners kicked in. Man he could go! Brown could go too.

Great job!

Instead of music, I personally would like to just here the actual play with the crowd noise.

Other than that, LOVE THE HIGHLIGHTS!!!

That was my original idea but I got alot of the footage from other youtube videos, which already have their own music. So some have the announcers talking and others have music. So rather than a whole bunch of random music popping up here and there. Then switching back to the announcers, I just put a base for one song, then if it was a video of the announcers speaking I kept that.

But I would prefer the announcers too, if it would turn out right.

How the hell do you justify "Old School" when there's not a single sepia still, a grainy and "jumpy" 16 mm clip, a b&w kinescope or a b&w video tape in the bunch?

Sheesh! [Old & getting Cranky]

It's funny you mention that because the second part I am working on already has one. From 1929 Jack Elder interception against Army.

My gosh, I was pumped anytime Zibby ever got in on a play. And those punt returns! Epic.

I myself prefer just the original sound. The crowd and the announcers.

But nice work.

Second one, this one is much shorter but has alot more of the announcers but still has the background music.
