So let's get this all straight, SouthWest opened with a Rocky, and I raised him to an R Lee Ermy -Full Metal Jacket, and then he called me with the greatest war face of all time Braveheart; BGIF is showing his tender and naive side, (they are not "out of business" they have just changed their name and identity, it is a conspiracy) Military is hittin' the combat punch, but a willing convert, (worried about something that is going to be less stress that he thinks); Domina is trying to get us all back on task; and Johnny is being the candyman, supplying us all with free hits of cranberry juice.

Guys, remember the first three or four times you try it fine, but then your hooked. First it's just a spritzer, then there is the chocolate, cuddling up with a great chick flick . . . BEFORE YOU KNOW IT IT"S THANKSGIVING and you give up football to get to bed so you can get an early start on shopping . . . AAARRRRGGGGHHHH!

What was I saying? I still think your warface selection is awesome SW, I doff my cap toya.

PS. Military. Another thread announced that this year Jack negotiated a return to Big East officials at the big house, unlike '09, so that may help. That is all.

I've heard that Jimmy Clausen kid is good. I think he should be at the top of our list. I hope he pulls the trigger next. Could use some QB depth.

I don't think it is that far fetched. I don't know if he is next, but I think we get him. There is an article on ISD that makes me believe we are in it with him big time. He is visiting today with his Dad.

But the question is, who will be NEXT. And this kid has Stanford and Cal very high up there. He may be Irish in the end, but I highly, highly, highly doubt he pulls the trigger next. He'll give those other schools another shot for sure. But glad he's coming back with his pops!

Also tougher to utilize any sort of academic recruiting pull when against Cal and Stanford.

I'm doubting IO to commit after his visit.....would be nice. I'm going to say one of the DT/DE will commit next - rather it be Day/Jones/Schutt I think one of those will be next OR Reeves.

According to the 4HL, one of the mods (Sampson) suggested that the targets that could decide in the next month or so would be Mahone, Reeves, Jones, Day and Schutt. Where they go, that's to be determined.

may not be next but after a few reads and chit chats with alums i think its more than 50/50 we get Odenigbo and slightly higher than that we land Day. then again i tend to be more optimistic then i should sometimes

Its almost August...camp starts...kid can come up for a visit and see practice and get their verbals in before their seasons start. But Id expect good things here within the next few weeks.
