Yeah, I would hate to see him go, but it is probably inevitable. He may be the best recruiter we've ever had as an assistant. Comes from a great football family too. Would be a huge loss!

It will be a huge loss, but the man has got to make a name for himself. A job at YSU seems like a good stepping stone. If I remember correctly , that is where Tressel was previous to Ohio State.

Coaching at Buffalo when Buffalo was the worst team in football doesn't seem to qualify anyone for an ND job, unless you have a silver spoon. What good is good recruiting if you can't coach your recruits?

not sure where the Bob Stoops potential hiring stands, but i heard from a buddy who is plugged into OSU that Mark Stoops pulled out of the YSU running. the thought there was he pulled out to join Bob at ND as DC. i'll follow up with him today for more dirt. Polian w/b a huge loss but the next coach might blow out the staff anyway. he has to do what he has to do and i thank him for his tremendous recruiting efforts while at ND.

You are indeed correct. I would hate to lose this guy but its inevitable.

We have lost enough people this offseason already. I am praying that Stoops gets it. I want Polian to stay.
