So after playing some RTG as a wide receiver let me say (and I hope this doesn't go for actual gameplay too) but there is no catching a deep ball. Atleast as a posession wide receiver. To be honest, other than the recruitment process, I was disappointed in RTG.

Oh and so much for the 10 feet leaps when...your RTG character doesn't jump. EVER. It's so absurd. A ball could be a foot above his head but he only lifts his hands to his facemask.

I did that at first too, ACamp nailed it, just log off xbox live and you can name them whatever you want.
For example:
#7 on USC is now referred to as Douchey McBaggerstein.
Also, USC is coached by none other than Piece O'****-Kiffin

it's true... tested it many times... you have to go to super sim and skip a play just to get teh play call screen to come back...

I could play you one day and show you how to do it... being serious I learned a lot in NHL from a friend just schooling me, and in all honestly the deep ball is not and has not been worthless... i have hit Floyd on three 50 yard plus bombs already in this game... seriously.


tip, go with the play Four Vertical from any shotgun... there will be a time when ONE of your routes will BURN the safities... easy TD

My copy arrives tomorrow....but I recall in the demo having alot of success with Texas tossing it deep.
one play in shotgun splits called 687 Hook or 689 Hook I believe....it was 75% success on huge td throws for me.

Also....in response to the 4 verticals comment....try it from a 5 wide....the inside slot on the trips side will be open nearly every time. I think that's it is one of the money plays this year.

this play has been money for years now... and still is, they addressed all the money plays I have come across in this years' game except standard slants and four verts

I maxed out the plays and for the time being added I think 4 or 5 formations. Removing maybe one formation and multiple plays in the process.

just got it.. so far, not impressed.

not because i don't think it's a good game. i think it's a good addition to ncaa 11, which IMO was the best football game i've ever played. but i am mostly disappointed that i spent $60 bucks on it. it was an impulse buy, that I may end up regretting.

that being said, it's a beautiful game. the graphics are incredible. the gameplay is improved. .. but i may have just paid $60 to bridge the gap between now and madden that could've been filled by the 2nd half of my season in mlb 2k11. unfortunately that may now end up on the shelf while i get my $60 worth out of ncaa. bad move.

anyways, am i the only one here who is having offensive troubles? i'm playing on heisman, and this may just be the adjustment period, but dayne crist just went 0-12 with 2 picks for me. maybe the defense is tougher this year.

I just bought the 360 version. I have 2008, 2010, 2012, it's not really worth getting every year. Anyway, I haven't had xbox live in awhile, does anyone know if the free xbox live version will allow me to download the roster updates?

It's just more difficult.

Rather, I think they bumped up All-American rather than bump down Heisman from last year so there wouldn't be such a large gap between the two.

And they made it harder to cheese like people could last year.
