I agree, very happy to have John Turner hop on board! He worked in front of the staff and impressed athletically and physically (size/strength) and earned an offer at a position where we already had 2 commits.
Must have really blown them away and I can't wait to see him reach his full upside with the Irish over the next 5 years!

He was playing corner against our team and pretty much locked down one of our best receivers and pretty much took away half of the field on us. He is a legit 6'2 and has the frame to add quite a bit of good weight.

I don't think so. The coaches aren't afraid to throw out offers to anyone they think is deserving.

Yea I was thinking that when I saw a 4.7 forty and 9 bench reps. The kids got the tools to be solid.

Only thing that scares me is that he also camped at Iowa (I think) and did not receive an offer or rave reviews. I have no doubts he shined at our camp. I'm just hoping this wasn't a flash in the pan performance and is instead indicative of what he can bring consistently.
