In Deed, he will be on campus next monday. I think getting him would be as important as any other player in this recruiting class.

The Detroit Free Press is saying that six prospects will be visiting Michigan this week/weekend. Doesn't have any comments by Peat about Michigan. I just don't see the marriage between the two.

In all fairness, ND fans do the same, and there's a lot more of us around the country than any other fanbase. Hell, we had our very own member of IE get into with a ND player recently.
As for Peat...ND just has to be ND tomorrow and we should be fine. And if not, so be it, his loss.

Eh, 40% chance of storms pretty much all week here in northern Indiana. It should be a pretty nice day other than a few potential squall lines or pop-up thunderstorms. I'm sure he'll see the sun shine off the golden dome at least a couple of times!

Someone needs to remind these kids that Hoke hasn't even won a game at Michigan yet... I have no idea what's brought on this resurgence in recruiting. Hopefully after the Denard - Pro Style experiment crashes and burns most of the recruits that we're fighting UM for will realize that it's still very much a rebuilding project up in Ann Arbor.

Or how Hoke promised his kids at SDSU that he wasnt leaving them, then took the job at Michigan. Or how after taking the job, he never returned to San Diego, not even to clean out his office. Or how he hired a coach (Rocky Long), that quit on a New Mexico team, saying his players werent good enough for him to coach. This guy is a weasel and like usual it only takes time for everyone to see it.

Coming into ND, Brian Kelly was undoubtedly a "winner". The same can't be said for Hoke yet.
Kelly managed to salvage a decent class in 2010, but it was nothing like what Hoke is putting together right now for Michigan. I don't get it.

Yes you will see an ND fan from time to time tweet at a recruit but it pales in comparison to the barrage by other fan bases. Alabama and Auburn fans are the worst, but Michigan fans are quickly catching up.

Exactly. He's recruiting well on the defensive side of the ball (so far) because Mattison is taking credit for a defense he did nothing to build and barely maintained in the NFL. Granted, if I was a kid coming out of HS and heard "former Ravens' defensive coordinator" I'd be all over it too. Plus, they can promise immediate PT because they have no talent or depth on that side of the ball.
I'm not sure who, if anyone, thinks Hoke is a "winner." He's never really won crap and was the 3rd (at best) choice for this job.
