I'm just saying, why else would you punish your soul by living in freaking Syracuse, NY? Can't think of a worse place to be. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Detroit?
...Bosnia?

You win.
Did we fight?
I have no idea. I'm just saying, why else would you punish your soul by living in freaking Syracuse, NY? Can't think of a worse place to be. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Just a gross, gross piece of land.
Move to DC. Not that hot and the Government keeps this area rolling.
Detroit?
...Bosnia?
"Not that hot"? Did you just move to D.C.? D.C. gets gross in the summer.
Perkins looks like an old school RB in his tape- he loves running over people.
Ann Arbor ain't that bad. Just to the west of it, I mean just, by god, is an area known as the "Irish Hills." Spent a lot of time there growing up, Devil's Lake Pavilion, seeing Bob Seger, later MIS, and tall boys.
Someone must like it, the realestate is still out of this world.
Anyone know if his offer is actionable?
Ummmm.... is that rhetorical?
"SAT scores came in! Offered by Notre Dame."
I'm going to be optimistic and think that he is incredibly stoked he got an offer from Notre Dame due to his SAT scores and wanted to commit ASAP. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
Detroit reminds me of Beirut!Detroit is probably worse than Syracuse, just because its bigger.
Detroit reminds me of Beirut!
Is everyone still going to be this excited if he winds up on the defensive side of the ball after said hypothetical verbal?
Regardless of all the talk I think he'll play RB unless we pull in some RB prospects...
Based on his film, I agree with you. I can definitely see him being the next big guy in the backfield. At 6'2" and already over 200lbs, he could be a monster by the time he sees the field in a couple years. Add those measurables to his apparent speed, non-stop motor and affinity for plowing through defensemen- can make for a great compliment to whichever speed guy we have back there.
But if we pull in a Keith Marshall or Barry Sanders Jr. calibur guy...let him play linebacker all damned day long.
Why not keep him in the backfield at that point? These speed/finesse guys will always benefit from a change-of-pace bruiser, no?
I feel ya...we will always be in need of a bruiser!
