The pickins were slim this summer from Michigan, but that may have to do with the state of the program.
Second, I highly doubt that coach will be Urban Meyer, he is barely removed from his resignation, and while I'm sure he's itching to get back to it, when you make a huge decision like that for your family, you don't just change your tune shortly after. This is, however, college football, and stranger things have happened.
Finally, this is huge for the Big Integer. Tressel has owned the conference, and with the introduction of a solid Nebraska program, this clearly puts them in the driver's seat for the upcoming season, and into the future following. The ramifications from this scandal could be substantial when all added up--the NCAA sanctions coupled the shock of a coaching change and the negative impact on recruiting could see this really harm Ohio State in the future. Everything is speculation at this point, but this is a significant event for the landscape of college football, and we are going to see it unravel. I'm pretty excited.
