Just offered yesterday. Don't know too much about the kid. Looks pretty athletic & a good player from the video.

Being recruited as a running back or wide receiver?

Arizona

His Brother went to Arizona or Arizona St. He may like ND though.
There is something that connects him to the IRISH but I forgot what.

He could be a perfect slot receiver---excellent hands and explosive.
Seems to be open minded so add him to that long, long list of prospects.

Chandler's Head Coach Steve Belles played for ND in '86-'89 and got a championship ring in '88. He has the unique distinction of being a backup to Tony Rice at QB and The Rocket at FL. In one game in '88 he lined up as a halfback took a pitch from Rice and threw a halfback pass for a TD.

Steve Belles makes the catch at 0:44.

Anyway, what position(s) does the staff want him at?

Did an interview with II, really seems to have no interest in ND. Still early, but didnt hear anything positive.

This seems another piece of data that the staff is quite concerned about getting quality RB commitments this cycle despite how much we need them. Scared of the spread, Kelly-style??? We REALLY need Cierre to have a big year this year.

How different are the offenses when referring to Chip vs Brian? Oregon seems to land stud RBs regularly. Apparently I'm wrong, but I guess I have been under the assumption that BK wants to run the same style offense that Oregon does. If that's the case, then why are we missing on the top RBs?

I'm no expert, but Oregon's spread seems more geared towards the run, ours to the pass.

Also doesn't hurt that Oregon has become a consistently winning program as of late. ND puts together a couple 10-win BCS seasons in a row and the studs will start lining up.
