I don't think we will give up if he chooses someone else, but we might fill up and not be able to flip him. We have so many offers out right now I can't even keep track, and spring evals aren't even done.

i'm using the same logic for why i want him to go to florida if he doesn't go to ND...if he goes to florida the only time we'd have to play him is in a bowl game...not saying i'm afraid to play him, but if we want him bad enough he must be pretty good.

Recruiting these days seems to be as much about keeping talent away from your rivals as it is about getting it yourself.

He has friends at a lot of schools. If he went to UF, he could still be around his everyday high school buddies. He has also never mentioned that as part of his decision making process, so I am still going to say that Stanford would be a shocker in my opinion.

I just have the impession that this is a very smart kid. Very articulate and has all his ducks in row. Saying that I would think he wouldn't go out on a limb and pick a school he didn't visit. No diss to any other player his committed without visiting...I'm just saying from what I've read about him he doesn't seem like the kid to do it. That's why I think it is still between ND and FL....unless I'm in the dark and he has seem other campuses on the radar.

Are you going to pretend like that doesn't give Stanford a better shot? Because it does. I'm not saying that every kid follows their buddy... but come on, it certainly plays a factor. If it didn't no one would bat an eye that Darby and Marshall are friends.
