Can't wait till 130 tomorrow. I just have an odd feeling that he'll go to UF. The word around the campus is that Florida feels strong that this is their guy & he will commit tomorrow, fwiw.

Hate to be a wet blanket, but I said this about 3-4 pages back when he suddenly announced that he was choosing this Friday, and I still believe it today: The last visit he took was to FL. FL coaches had just been to his school before he announced he was choosing his school. He mentioned how his family can watch him play there. He spoke highly of FL's education, esp their business school, even though we have the top business school (undergrad) in the nation. I mean, too much points to FL for me to consider him going anywhere else. I sincerely hope I'm way off (wouldn't be the first nor the last time), but I'm just not feeling this one. I'm not even looking forward to his announcement.

I hope he surprises me and chooses ND...

I have a hard time believing Odenigbo would blow Davis' suprise. Maybe he's just messing with us.

I'm guessing USC. I will actually flip more of a **** if it's Stanford. We CANNOT let that school keep competing for our recruits... especially on a national scale.

Either way this totally sucks. Oh well.

"I know I am going to get lambasted for this and I never have done this before so cut me some slack. I can't reveal who I heard this from but it is someone who my brother is friends with that is close to Davis ( my brother is a social worker that helped a family member get through a rough time - the friends family, not Noor's). He is coming to ND...done deal from what I have been told. Loves the 3-4 and Diaco. Also feels ND will win a NC very soon and Tuiit and Lynch will allow him to excel on the outside."

To go along with what NDinLA said, remember that this kid is from Cali. USC is very much in the mix.

My guess in the end is that he does choose ND. Im not going to speculate further on why, it's just a gut feeling. After reading the full speech he gave last night, I've never been more impressed with the words of a 16 year student athlete. What wins it in the end in my mind:

ND's mixture of religion and strong academics. His family was with him on the trip and loved the campus. He spoke very highly about the fact that he was able to spend eight hours alone with the coaches. This kid is Irish. If not now, by signing day.

IrishInOntario posted that on the II board. Very knowledgeable guy, but you'll notice he didn't claim any insider info there. Just a gut feeling. I wouldn't put much stock in it.

I'm not entirely sure, but I do know it is an individual who "represents" the class of 2011. They have regularly talked with and interviewed the '11 signees, including Conor and Stephon this week.

We got Tee without him visiting. We got Jalen Brown without visiting. Not messed up in our eyes there though. Just saying.

All his 40 year decision talk - to me thats either ND or Stanford. I can't do anything but root for a kid with his priorities in order, even if he does choose to play in Palo Alto.
