Anyone watching? It was a blowout early, but LT has had a huge comeback.

Boise State up 30-28 with 14:07 left in the 4th. The last TD catch was one of the best you will see also.

Just hand Boise a BCS bid right?

Ya. 27-7 at halftime then 30-14 in the 3rd.

Boise just missed a 31 yard field goal. 30-28 still with 11:30 left

This is the same team who lost to Nevada 14-37, Boise looks way overrated!

I don't think there was much of a question about it anyway, but if it comes down to either TCU or Boise, TCU has to be chosen.

Boise State...pfft. Seriously who the $%*# do they play besides Oregon? Which was a fluke. If they played today Oregon would grind them into their smurfy turf.

Should never have gotten that close and Boise St tends to go into lapses in a number of games. LT recognized that and got the pick 6 on the ball that the QB was trying to throw out of bounds then immediately did the onside kick to catch them off guard. Also, that LT catch for their 4th TD was incredible. Boise finally woke up again and in a heartbeat they had 2 more scores.

I don't really consider myself a Boise St fan, but the last few years they have been fun to watch and they get the spotlight because I think 99% of their games are on thursday or friday nights...so national TV coverage. Add to that the spectacle of the blue field (thank God they toned down the orange on the home unis as it was hard on the eyes on HDtv).

Also, I heard SVP on ESPNradio talk about how they can't schedule anyone of any caliber as they can only lose. If Great Team U plays Boise and wins, they were supposed to. If hey lose it only hurts them worse. AND because Boise has gotten pretty good, the chance that Great Team U loses is pretty good. So why take the chance? I mean look at the non-conference schedule of the teams competing for the national championship...most are really sad.

That was a fluke? The score was not indicative of the way that game went. They destroyed Oregon. And much like our beloved Irish, I believe they play to the level of their opponents.

Can't have your cake and eat it too fellas. ND came back and on last minute drives beat 3 teams it should have crushed and lost to 1.

I would have no problem matching BSU with anyone anywhere, I think they fit in with the regular BCS crowd. Personally I wouldn't mind either being in the BCS, maybe both. They are both good squads and worthy of a BCS game.

TCUs schedule leaves something to be desired as well... Lets not forget those lopsided victories against an elite Clemson and AirForce squad.

So if they played today who do you think would win?

Oh lets see. It was Chip Kelly first game as head coach. Oregon clown stomp a top caliber team of USC. So I'll say Oregon..

Just a little friendly fact. Since the win over the Sooner in the Festia bowl, Boise is now 0-4 in bowl games including the lost to a TCU team last year.

USC is not that good this year, news flash for you. Wow really? 0-4? Its 2011 already? Man someone should have woke me up.

Oregon had a grand total of 150 yards that game. 31 on the ground. They got punched in the mouth, no pun intended. And I stand behind my statement of them playing anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Regardless of who lost to who and when, Oregon lost to them THIS year. I hope either BSU makes it or both BSU and TCU make it so they can stomp a mud hole in some ones ass. And if they get blown out, then I'll admit I was wrong. But if they win I will provide each and every one of you with a giant crap sandwich.

I don't like crap sandwiches. Tacos de caca are O.K. though.

Boise has been good for a long time. I saw them play a long time ago and told a friend that this is a team on the rise. They have done well. I wonder where the hell their magic came from.

Boise is good - period. Living in WAC country, I've learned this, BSU has the same problem ND has. They are the circle game on every one of their opponents' schedules. It isn't going to be possible for them to be 100% for 60 minutes 12 times a year against the other teams' best efforts. And don't think for a minute that Oregon was looking past them - it was a revenge game and that was all anyone was talking about. If they played again, I think it would be a toss up because Boise would bring their best again.
That said, their game against Nevada should be tough, but unfortunatley Boise will pull out another close one and deserve a BCS entry.

Well, if they beat Alabama like Utah did in a game that Bama clearly did not care about whatsoever, then don't claim that they should have played in the championship. I can guarantee if Bama and Utah had met the week before the SEC Championship last year, Bama would have won by 20. I like TCU and think they could compete with just about anyone (maybe not Florida or Bama) because they have great special teams and D, but I just don't see Boise knocking off a team in a BCS game. Maybe Iowa, or Georgia Tech if they had over a month to prepare for the option, but thats it.

Dude, the Fiesta Bowl was in 2007, so how are they 0 -4 since then? They lost by 3 to E. Carolina in 08 and by 1 to TCU last year. Yeah, they suck.

Their schedule is weak. There is no doubt about that, but they beat the teams in front of them and it is true that nobody will schedule them. Although next year they play VA Tech. They have had a solid program for a decade now. It's lame to bad mouth them.

Still think BSU wouldn't be a game for Oregon?

I dunno, I haven't really praised Oregon at all this year. They looked great against USC, but old-fashioned D-Coordinators typically struggle against spread offenses. With ND and Iowa out of the BCS picture, it will be interesting to see if Boise and TCU both go. Oklahoma still theoretically has a chance as an at-large right? If they win out they could be in the top 14.
