Keep in mind Rivals hasn't distinguished between CB and S yet. So while there are 10 ahead of Darby and 6 ahead of Shepard, some of those will be weeded out when they rate the specific positions.

FWIW, Scout has Shaq Thompson (10), Landon Collins (17), Eddie Williams (20), Travis Blanks (27), and Alex Carter (62) all listed as CBs. So in theory we can eliminate 5 DBs ahead of where Shepard would rank as a CB and 6 ahead of where Darby would rank.

Essentially we still have 2 top 5 CBs. However that may not be the case when Rivals does their position rankings. They may project someone at a different position, which can skew the position order.

^this....thanks for clarifying

DGB does remind me alot of Moss when he was in high school, I doubt he gets the hate chants that Moss got though haha

Lou Holtz called Randy Moss the greatest college football prospect that he had ever seen. Ever. DGB isn't quite in that ballpark.

DGB is certainly one of the most 'advanced' WR prospects the country has seen in some time though... the world is his to handle if he does it right.

I'll add Gunner to keep your hopes alive.

I highly doubt he is coming.

Oh, because I thought you did it to hurt my feelings. lol

I swear I think he has posters of Gunner in his room or something. The love he has for him is a bit creepy I must say

The only posters I have up are bikini shots of your momma... and one autographed photo of a deer.

Did anyone else notice Mike Farrell commenting on Keith Marshall having a fumbling problem?

I did. It sure seems like a trivial thing to downgrade him that significantly for. Its not like he had an injury, ran a slow 40 or showed some type of other physical weakness. There is a cure for fumblitis... its called Tim Hinton.

Did anyone see the comment on Chad Kelly? They said that they didn't want to make him a 4* because of "off the field" issues? Anyone have insight on that?

one thing that i didn't like is how they portrayed voltz as a good player at the next level, but not beyond...since when does rivals become a nfl projection site...think they should just stick to analyzing players for college and let mel and mcshay handle it from there.

I'm going soley off of DGB highlights compared to seeing Moss live in high school, you would be suprised at all the similarities. And I didn't fully compare the two, just said he reminded me of him.

greenberry on the cusp of the top 100...pretty impressive for a guy who just bleeped onto the radar.

no more current irish commits from 101-250

Mauk not even cracking the 250...

Ferguson not up there either, makes you wonder if ESPN is the only outlier putting him on the 150 watch list with a high rating. Decker also on no one's radar but Scout.

the 100chat talked a little about Ferguson...scouts said he is a very high 3 star on the cusp of a low 4 star...i'm not surprised about mauk personally, but i thought with decker's size he would make the list.

Linemen are hard to evaluate early on. There's a lot of movement for OT/OG's in the next few months

Rivals' scouts were very complementary of Greenberry in the chat.

Edit: I confused Ferguson and Greenberry. They said Ferguson the highest 3-star in FL; could easily finish a low 4-star.

Rivals' scouts were very complementary of Greenberry in the chat. They basically said the only reason he's not a 4-star yet is because they need to see more than one dominant 7 on 7 performance from him.

greenberry is a 4 star already, rated #115

gotcha...i saw the same thing

I will put money on Greenberry being Top 100 when it is all said and done. This is of course barring injury during his senior season.

Ferguson will also end up a 4 star in the 230-250 range.
