Sorry if this is addressed somewhere else. If so, feel free to delete this.

The premium sites are all atwitter about an Irish offer to a WR from Arkansas. I do not see one listed in the 2012 recruiting profiles. Scout has three WR's from Arkansas with star-rankings. Jalen Cobb is a 4*, but is listed as committed to Arkansas. Zac Brooks (#47 WR) and Shaquille Jones (NR) are 3*. Anyone with a premium membership have any insight on this?

We offered Zac Brooks. Still trying to get hold of Zac to confirm it.

I was both confused and excited when I read "AK WR."

We could use a little Inuit blood on the team. The Alaskan Assassin, AK-47 (Michael Irvin did wear #47 as a wideout), the Klondike Komet. All those nicknames passed through my brain.

'Twas but a dream, though.

Me too. I thought that we might have just offered a 7ft/400 pound Inuit that eats seals and wrestles polar bears. He would still be fast and nimble from walking on ice all the time and I figured he would play somewhere on the defense. Maybe offensive line though.

Vid on this kid? I'm already impressed simply by his offer list and that he has a 4.63 average star rating from 52 users. That means more than half the users who rated him rated him as a 5 star...damn!

Can we make a recruiting thread for this kid?! This is so confusing in this scattered format, it's like reading a left handed newspaper.

I have been spoiled by the excellent organization skills of the mods of this site.

ZAC BROOKS

ZAC BROOKS

ZAC has also said he want's to stay close to home where his father can see him.
ZAC has also said he was born in the south, hates cold weather, and will
probably look at playing for a SEC team.
ZAC also said he likes small schools and can see himself at Arkansas State.

Looks like a long shot.

ZAC's father can see him at ND because every game is on tv.
We can have one of the ball boys follow ZAC around with a heater so he is never cold.
ND is a small school compared to the other 3 in ZAC's top 4.

Problem solved for ZAC! ;)

If all of these are true, then how does ND make the top 4? If ND is as irrelevant as some may suggest, then this "lip service" everyone speaks of is redundant. I hate when kids list a school just to get a rise out of others.
