Move to Knoxville and be around Tennessee fans....not only are they complete morons,they also know nothing about athletics other than UT, and can't give u a decent athletics conversation to save your life.

There are probably (actually, definitely) people out there that think ND fans are the worst in the country. It's all about perception, personally I think Mich fans are the worst but I live in Michigan and am constantly bombarded with UM rhetoric.

My wife is also from Ohio, Columbus actually, and I've met a lot of "realistic" OSU fans. It's a shame that once again the moronic minority of people control the majority of sane people. I guess people must want graduates of their school to be such huge honks for their school on national TV and local/national radio that they never say anything negative about them. Do they seriously want Herbstreit to defend Tressel and OSU in light of these recent allegations?

Never hated the Bucks until I moved to Columbus. I hate them now. Don' t mind the basketball team because the Buckeye fans only pay attention at Tourny time. Hard to sell out a game even when they are #1. Buckeye football fans are the worst.

I dunno I live in Illinois and Illini fans are pretty douchebagish. Mainly anytime I wear ND stuff the first thing they tell me is how much better the Illini is at Basketball. When I tell them that I dont care for basketball and I support football they act like its a crime to care about football in this state. From what little I know about college basketball I hear the irish are pretty damn good this year but I dont know anything about the fighting Illini. I will say when it comes to Ohio Sate that when they ruined Illini basketball's perfect season a few years back that did make my day

This is obviously a regional thing. I live in LA and to me it is no contest, the worst fan base by far is SC. I think all fanbases are obnixious to an outsider, but SC exudes a attitude of superiority that is horrible, this attitude comes from Hollywood and little rich kids running around SoCal. Wolverine fans become pretty easy-going near the end of the year, when their team is dropping every game and they're in fear of not even being able to make a bowl. At least recently.

Before 2008, they were insufferable. But I read the Rivals boards and a lot of Irish fans are moronic homers, so there's insufferable d-bags in every fanbase.

Most bucknut fans I know are just freak’n spoiled POS's, their bball teams have been good, their FB teams have been good. So when I hear osu fans i just have to smile b/c its gonna be great when their world comes crumble'n down, and it looks like that’s gonna happen sooner rather than later.
