I agree, we have a shot. He is #1 on UT's board though, and UT boards seem to think he will wind up there. As always, get him on campus, we have a good shot.

Not much. It's early in the process but all signs point to him staying in state. He did an interview with Andrew Gribble and GoVolsXtra and he is very high on Tennessee and SEC football. I say we have a better shot with Marshall than Kimbro.

I just called a coaching buddy over in that area and he say's this guy is amazing. Said that he outruns angles as well as anyone he has seen (and he has been coaching high school football for 28 years). He says that the school is a pretty rough one and that says a lot for Memphis schools. What are his grades like and what are his ACT scores, thats his questions. As far as playing ability, he has it. Any info on grades TT?

A Stanford offer use to mean "he's fine" but the past 2 or 3 years they put out a lot of conditional offers than didn't pan out. That was tipped off first by the broad net Harbaugh threw out so early and then confirmed some early SU verbals that lost their SU scholarship offers late in the cycle.

I find VU and SU offers encouraging and look forward to seeing a viable GPA and Test Score.

Recruits that don't have GPAs published and take the Tests late always concern me. Too many years of Rooney and Saracino to think otherwise.
