This is not to single and recruit out. It's just a matter of personal favorites. In order, list your favorite recruits of the 2010 class. You can go by biggest impact before they graduate, or just flat out favorite players.

Heres mine:

Aaron Lynch
Ishaq Williams
Stephon Tuitt
Matthew Hegarty
George Atkinson III
Everett Golson
Ben Councell
Davaris Daniels
Ben Koyack
Anthony Rabasa
Eilar Hardy
Josh Atkinson
Troy Niklas
Jarrett Grace
Jalen Brown
Chase Hounshell
Cam McDaniel
Kyle Brindza
Brad Carrico
Tony Springmann

Im only going as far as 20 because I don't feel good about putting someone last. This is just my list and I based it on immediate impact, favorite recruiting stories, biggest upside, and just my overall favorite players.

Thoughts and opinions...

So instead of listing all 23 and making the last person feel bad, you leave off 3 and make them all feel bad?

Yea but I don't see an immediate impact anywhere but in the punting game. Dude has a serious leg on him but he is kicking from the 40 in most of his videos. He's going to really have to be something special to overtake Tausch and Ruffer for place kicker.

but he kicks it out of the back of the endzone every time. how does that not make an immediate impact?

IDK about favs... but these are the guys I think have the talent AND the situation at their position to possibly move up the depth chart right away...

Ishaq Williams
Everett Golson
Ben Councell
Davaris Daniels

those are the four that I think can make major impacts THIS YEAR... Lynch and Tuitt (Among others) will clearly play also and make impacts, but i don't see them getting MAJOR PT unless someone goes down on the line...

doesn't matter though... this whole group is MASSIVE and can clearly be looked at as the first WHOLE GROUP that can be viewed as a National Title building block. I believe that

You did put someone last, Springmann.

Then you gave Farley, Hanratty, and Martin the honor of not being worthy for your list.

Immediate impact ?
If USF wins the toss, Brindza will be the first ND player to touch the ball. Brindza will letter as a freshman.
Kid dumped Michigan (who was desperate for a kicker) for ND (a plus for us and major minus for UM).
Early Entrant, 8 months of Longo before a game.
K.O.s deep in the endzone, or through.
Hits 50+ yd FGs.
Punts 48 yds,
IF someone does try to run back one of his kicks, he's not going to wave an arm in the ball carrier's face, he will decleat him. Kid's built like a LB.

Brindza could send 3 lettermen to the bench as a freshman. IF he replaces 2 kickers, it means another seat on the traveling bus for a DB, RB, or Lineman, OL or DL.

My Top 5
Ishaq-Everything you'd want out of hybrid 3-4 rush OLB (IMO the most important piece of a 3-4 defense)
Lynch-Sack machine
Tuitt-Our LBs will love him taking on multiple blockers
Koyack-If he enrolled early, he'd start on opening day
Daniels-Great athlete w/ a lot of upside

Most Overlooked Prospect in our Class
Grace (He is one of the most sure tacklers that I've seen at the high school level)

Well good grief, maybe he should be on the cover of SI like FSU's Scott Bentley in 1993!

P.S. That guy was awful, here's hoping Kyle has a better overall body of work after college.

How about all of them. They all will have a very important role in helping us win and thats all that matters right?

i dont get why if we are all fans of nd we have to come on here and bash one another. my man is just trying to spark some conversation during the offseason and everyone is giving him grief about it. if you aren't interested in the thread, don't post

Love Junkhead's post.

But in the spirit of fun: I'll say a few of all-my-favorites-who-are-a-little-more-favorite. In no particular order: Councell---Daniels---Golson---Hegarty---McDaniel---Tuitt. [yeh, a minimum of five All-Americans plus Rocky Bleier...good recruiting class].

....and there's also...whoops...gotta stop there or I'll blow the whole gig.

Agree w/ this. If you don't like what people are saying, there are plenty of other things to post about on other threads. What else is there to talk about until the fall?
