That will be their stance until we force them to talk about us by being a consistent BCS contender. They aren't about reporting news as much as they are about furthering their own agenda, and ND doesn't make them much of any money. When we start playing in BCS games regularly, we'll begin to make them money, and they'll hang off our nuts...

We have signed 7 of ESPN's top 150, so you'd think they would mention that at some point. Not sure how they do their class rankings, but we are #11. LSU is #10. They have two 5* to our zero, but they only have three top 150 players, less 4* and more 3*. I would take our class over theirs.

At least not until Clowney commits, which isn't today I believe.

I know, but all of that isn't making ESPN any money. You have to understand, they aren't a legitimate news organization anymore, they are now a multibillion dollar conglomerate - and like any such organization, they aren't going to spend any time or money on something with zero rate of return. As soon as we start making some money for them, they'll talk about us. Until then, we'll always be on their second page. They can afford to ignore us right now, and so they will.

I saw the interviews of the early enrollees and two observations:

1. They best give Tony Alford a nice bonus.

2. The coaching staff really has its act together. The one thing the kids have in common is a direct manner and the steady demeanor of quality people. If they can play as well as they present themselves, ND is in good shape.
