1.) Somewhat confident in this one. Deion Walker will emerge as a playmaker in the offense. I think with two years to develop under Kelly and his staff I believe he will finally see the field and make plays for the offense.

2.) Prince Shembo will lead the team in sacks. His explosiveness off the corner and versatility to play up or down will make him a tough player to block. I believe he will be a big time pass rusher, seems to have a knack for finding the QB.

3.) Tommy Rees with start at QB. Not too bold, but a lot of people think Crist will come back to start and even Andrew Hendrix's name has been thrown around a bit, still think Rees will emerge as a starter.

4.) Michael Floyd will get invited to the Heisman Ceremony!

5.) Defense will be ranked in the top 15 statistically.

6.) Cam McDaniel will contribute right away on the offensive side of the ball.

7.) We will be undefeated heading into the last game of the season against Stanford.

1. Hard to see. WR depth next year besides Walker: Floyd, Goodman, Riddick, Toma, Jackson, Jones, Smith, Collinsworth (would love to see a move to Safety!), GA3, and Daniels. Now I do not want to doubt the kid but unless Collinsworth moves, both freshman RS, and an injury or two occur I do not see him on the field. Not a knock on him, but a testiment to the talent at the position.
2. A possibility. He will be up there with Fleming, Johnson, and KLM.
3. Alright your on record for this toss up.
4. I hope so.
5. If true, expect BCS.
6. He will have a chance to crack the depth chart. Would feel the same way he if was in for spring ball. My guess is he redshirts if the team can afford it.
7. Disagree. We are not there yet though it is still early too tell. I just hope we win that game for some momentum heading into a big bowl game.

1. Andrew Hendrix wins the starting QB job.

2. Cam Roberson emerges as the #2 running back behind Cierre Wood.

3. We lose to Stanford, USC, and Michigan.

4. Kyle Brindza, Matthias Farley, Nick Martin, Connor Hanratty, Bennett Okotcha, Tony Springmann, Everett Golson, Josh Atkinson, Brad Carrico, Jarrett Grace, and Ben Hoyack all redshirt. Every other freshman plays.

5. Michael Floyd and Manti Te'o are both top 15 draft picks.

6. Prince Shembo leads the team in sacks, Harrison Smith leads the team in interceptions, Manti Te'o leads the team in tackles, Cierre Woods leads the team in rushing, Michael Floyd leads the team in receiving (none of these are very bold though)

7. Louis Nix becomes a breakout star, makes 3rd team All-American and becomes a 1st round draft prospect for 2012.

8. Michael Floyd, Manti Te'o, and Harrison Smith all make the 1st or 2nd team All-American teams. Harrison Smith gets there because of interception numbers instead of consistent play.

9. DaVaris Daniels puts up huge numbers and contends for Freshman All-American

10. Bob Diaco gets a head coaching job in the MAC and Chuck Martin is promoted to DC at the end of the year

11. ND fans make expectations way too high at the end of the bowl game. This isn't bold, however, since it happens every year.

Good chance on #2, and maybe #6.

All the others, bad odds in my book.

Wow your picks are bold thats for sure.

That's exactly why I entitled it bold. I did this for the NFL this season. Just the NFL overall. I did fairly well, except for my Cincinnati Bengals Super Bowl prediction. I did however predict the Chiefs would make the playoffs. I predicted the Seahawks, Falcons to win their divisions. I correctly predicted that the Colts wouldn't win 12 games this season, which they had done for the previous couple of seasons. I did well for the most part. If I got 2 or 3 of these I would be ecstatic 1,2,7.

1. We go 0-12
2. We shuffle quarterbacks like cards
3. Cierre Wood busts
4. Michael Floyd disappoints
5. Theo Riddick's early season success ends up being the high point of his career
6. There will be no reliable target opposite Floyd
7. Tyler Eifert ends up being a one year wonder
8. The offensive line sucks
9. The defense sucks
10. Nick Tausch misses every field goal
11. Roby Toma finishes the season with 157 catches for 2,345 yards and 37 TDs. Coincidentally, he goes 157-157 for 2,345 yards and 37 TDs...to himself...in the final game of the year.

I don't see how Roby Toma could throw to himself so consistently. That one doesn't seem so realistic....I'd say 150-157 ...nobodys perfect.

redshirting him makes sense if he doesn't win the job in camp, but if they don't redshirt him i think it would be interesting to incorporate him into some wildcat-type packages

Something bold eh?? Hmmmm...

Andrew Hendrix wins the QB job despite being out-experienced by both Dayne and Tommy, and the offense scores 30+ points per game.

Cam Roberson pushes Cierre so hard that they become a two-headed monster producing 150 yards on the ground per game.

AIII becomes an electrifyingly dangerous kickoff returner to the extent that teams don't want to kick to him.

Our kick coverage teams are loaded with so much talent that we lead the nation in kick cover defense.

Our defense not only improves further but adds so many other personnel shifts and disguised coverage and blitzing schemes, that we are actually feared as an attack defense rather than merely a really good "conservative" defense.

We beat Navy, Michigan, Michigan State, and USC in the same year.

I'm hoping that Rees isn't starting.

Who would you prefer, cause crist couldnt move it on navy and i hate to break it to everyone but hendrix isnt that great based on high school preformance not to mention tommy did something that hasnt happened since 2006 (beat a team in the top 25) and something clausen and quinn couldnt do (beat USC).... idk about u guys but i back rees 100%, i am not saying he will win the heisman but i think he can do big things that i dont see happening with crist or hendrix running the offense.

^rees isnt gunna blow anybody away with skill, but hes smart, he knows when to throw the ball and where to throw it. and he has one intangible NO coach can ever teach. HE JUST WINS.

That's funny I broke a television after the loss to USC two years ago. Only broke a Direct TV controller this year after the fake field goal, to this day still can't bring myself to watch it.

Instead of rooting for a certain QB, why can't we just support the one who's on the field?

Alex Welch, don't forget about him.

I'm actually starting to think Koyack should redshirt. Put on weight and learn the game from the sidelines first.

ND is stacked at TEs either way.
