Got lucky. I showed the nice officer my phone. Turned on my texting page and showed him that I hadn't sent or recieved a text since 3:38 pm. Glad he didn't ask to see the browser.
I hate to even tell this next one. But, I was driving home doing about 50 in a 35 just after our losses to U of M and MSU. I live in Michigan. The officer checked my info, then came back to the car. Said he was gonna give me a ticket but opted not to because he felt sorry for me being a ND fan because of our recent losses. I was decked our in my ND shirt and hat and the Irish mascot beard I grow for the season. I was pissed.

Wow I thought we were in the teens when I looked just yesterday. Did Ishaq really jump us that much. Man when Lynch makes it official we gonna be BEAST. With reading some of the FSU boards a last weekend when this all began this became personal. With all the negative remarks I was getting pissed. I really hope when this is all said and done we are ranked above them just to make me feel like I won.

Im not sure what scoutng service you guys are going by but Florida State will finish ahead of us. They are going to land Tony Steward and Nick O'Leary at least. They are loaded and have more to come, a lot more.

I just looked at scout.com. We are 5th they are 4th. I'm an idiot when it comes to how the points are. I have no clue who they have left expected to commit. Was just wanting to finish above them thats all.

scout is usually very generous to us....if you look at rivals and espn they have us back in the 13-16 realm....Ishaq and Tuitt will change that but I think that we realistically are going to just break into the top 10

Scout jumped us all the way to 5 with just Ishaq. With ESPN/Rivals not updated yet, you have to imagine they will jump us to the 5-8 area. They have USC at 5th. Barring Amir commiting to them, and assuming that we do not get huggins, we would have the same amount of 5* & 4* players as U$C with Ishaq and Lynch assuming one of them pick up their 5th star (do you really see them not giving their 2nd overall OLB a fifth star?).

We also are in the mix still with some pretty good players and they still have some star adjustments to make after the all star games (which ND players are VERY well represented). This is conservatively turning into a top 5 class.

I think that is totally up to her. I hope Aaron, his mother and the rest of his friends and family don't feel totally burned by how they were treated after that horrible week in October (the darkest night before the sun began to rise).

We, as fans and posters have to remember these are 17 - 18 yo kids we are talking about. They all have parents, families, friends, HS coaches and even their own egos and self esteem. We should be cognizant and careful with that.

We are fans. We have a right to root passionately for our team. We do not have a right nor should we even have an inkling to question, berate or demean these kids and their families for any decision they make. None of us have any idea what they are actually going through - we (except for a rare few) don't know them, their circumstances or what is weighing on their decisions.

I hope Aaron joins the Irish and the most storied program in the land. As the parent of an ND grad - I can't think of anyplace else that I would want our one remaining high schooler to go (and she won't be going on an athletic scholly). Wherever Aaron takes his talents - I hope it works out for the best for he and his family. For our sake, I hope it is to South Bend and Our Lady's University.

^This is what i'm most excited about this year. I feel that most the players we have comming in can be developed into great players and that we have the coaching staff capable of doing it.

I doubt she comes back on the site. I think she figured out that it was a bad idea to get mixed up with us crazy fans...

She is on her way to the club to celebrate and have a good time. Just hope her celebrating is due to her son enjoying his visit and decided to be Irish.
