Ishaq's Dad told Coach D Penn State was the team he was going to choose at the Army game. The 4:30 am Diaco visit sealed the deal for ND, showed just how important Ishaq is to them. States when he took football out of the equation, it was the best place for him.

It makes total sense because of the comments his dad made the following days about refocusing and picking a school with great academics and a great alumni network as everyone pointed out. Diaco is a baller, it's gonna be hard to keep him in a couple years because people will be offering head coaching positions. Pay the man BK!

IMO that is a concern at this point. Once a program starts doing well the jackals swoop in to start tearing away at the coordinators.

The only other story I can think of in the recent past is the recruiting of Manti. I think it was Polian who was on a plane to go to Hawai'i just for a couple of hours for him.
