If he does enter the draft I do wish him the best he helped us win a repsectable bowl game that wasnt meant for a mid-major school and helped us beat USC. However, unless he goes to St. Louis or Indianapolis (both are highly unlikely) I'm not gonna lie and act excited about it. Im and Irish fan above all of them and Ill be sad if he leaves because I really think he could help us create more of a turnaround next season with perhaps another decent bowl win if he stays. That was my feelings on Rudy leaving but with him having the potential to be the first TE taken in the draft I understand that more than leaving to go in the 3rd or fourth round. I wonder if Golden wishes he had stayed because we coulve been a lot better this year had he stayed. Someone earlier mentioned that he has a poor family and this could help and I do respect that but he could raise his stock with a good year and have a degree form the university of Notre Dame in case (god-forbid) something would keep him from playing of having a long career on the next level.
