it's funny how this thread has been here 3 days and has only 40 less views than Ishaq's which has been here for probably a year.

Will Aaron start from day one if he enrolls at ND?

Ethan Johnson and KLM are both juniors, right? If so, expect Tuitt and Lynch to possibly contribute in the "spelling" role unless there is a redshirt in play. Kona Schwenke was supposed to preserve his eligibility this year, but got thrust into the "spelling" role because of injuries.

BK is going to put the best guys on the field to win. If that means using KLM or Lynch in the rotation he will do it. If not, then he won't.

Yeah, as far as I know, next year will be the final year of eligibility for both EJ and KLM. Both will be 3 year starters, so I doubt a freshman (even one as talented as Lynch) would be able to unseat them as starters. With that said, I do believe that Lynch and Tuitt are both ready to contribute immediately with meaningful minutes.

The DE and rush Lbs are a joke, if he cant start or have big playing time it would baffle me. Course ive neva really looked at rcts/rct vids b4 so maybe all the guys ND has now i woulda thought the same. Ishaq would need to RS to add muscle to play D in my opionin

With the Next man in approach, and the in vogue nature of no huddle schemes people use, they would have a really good chance to get some quality PT.... we played many freshman this year for pass rush purposes....

I don't see any freshmen starting for us (or any of our recruiting competitiors for that matter) next year... though many would get PT... Lynch would be obviously in that group big time... so will Tuitt most likely

and yes I believe KLM has two more years to burn if it works out that way...

There are a few senarios where it could happen...

1. If Floyd leaves, Atkinson has a legit shot at starting. He will likely compete with Riddick, Jones, Goodman, D Smith, and Jackson.

2. If Huggins commits, he has a legit shot at starting at some point if either Wood or Gray do not perform or get injured.

3. Golson has a legit shot of starting in the heated QB competition.

4. Also over looked is Brindza competing for the punting job with Turk.

...but I agree, not many. Especially on D.

I think if Lynch commits to us(and stays) he will have a legit opportunity to play significant minutes,if not maybe start.he will be an ee,so he will have spring ball and all year up until fall to learn the defense and bulk up. With his already great talent,it would not surprise me at all for him to come in right away.

Cracks me up that on Tomahawk Nation's scouting report they list FSU, UF and Bama as his "notable offers."

Oops, missed one.......

After that performance on Saturday how does he not have a 5th star from at least one of the outlets?

KLM has a redshirt available if I remember correctly, but EJ is done after 2011.

Thats correct. KLM was a skinny frosh... That being said, if we land both Lynch and Tuitt they will both see minutes, if not start eventually ala Te'o in '08.

Found something interesting off twitter from Saturday night

When asked what he needs to hear from FSU coaches to firm up his commitment, Aaron Lynch said, "I don't want to get bull****ed"
