Wow! 6'6 with 4.4 speed? Kelly would love to have him as a target in his pass happy offense. I would too. With us likely losing our top two targets after this year (barring a NFL lockout) we will need to get some too level talents at the position. After this weekend though I think Kelly can get almost anyone he wants and I think we will have a chance with just about anyone and everyone if we play well.

Seems to be an awesome kid. The football is secondary. I hope he reaps all the rewards the Lord and life bestows on him!

Dorial is an amazing athlete! This is my neck of the woods. Not often we get many good recruits down here so im pumped for this one. The kid is an outstanding basketball player. I was actually talking about him with some buddies last night. The first thing people talk about is his play on the court followed by he is a beast on the field. I am just going by what I have heard from people close to him but looks like he is a basketball lean but you never know for sure. Here is to hoping! I cant wait to watch him this season. Ill keep you guys posted...

He is an amazing athlete but I'm more impressed with his mental and emotional ability to overcome his lot in life. To be able to remain a focused, productive individual after such trials is truly astounding. Obviously I would love for him to be Irish, but I would be just as happy to get him because of his character as his ability to play football.

First game of his JR season was Saturday. He had 7 catches for a 137 yards. Took the last catch 66 yards with just over a minute left to win the game. The talent around here isnt that great however his team his pretty new. I believe they have several new lineman and a new QB who according to the coach, still has a long way to go. Looked pretty good to me though overall.

Coach said they dont have an offense good enough to really drive the field so are relying on the "Big Play" aspect of the game. Should be a good season.

here is the game winning catch: YouTube - Hillcrest's Dorial Green-Beckham catches game winner against Seneca with postgame celebration

I really, really, really ( actually went back to add the last "really" two wasn't enough) want this kid to come to ND. I'm not easily impressed by WR highlights, but this kid looks sick. Prototypical WR, in the in the completely unrealistic, create your own player/Calvin Johnson mold. Oh yeah, and his character seems to be even better. That is the RKG I want.

Hillcrest High School Football Schedule - MaxPreps

Here is a link showing the state of his games. The team is very young with new OL and QB. He is really the only go to guy and is still making plays happen of 80 yds plus. He is well deserving of 5* due to the fact that teams plan to stop him and they pretty much have the game won. Even though they are winning it doesnt seem he can be stopped.

Most important thing about the kid is he is for sure an RKG!!

Beckham and Zeke Motta have been long time friends. There dads were the best man at each others wedding. Also think they may have lived together for a few years but i may have misread that.

Still nice to have a connection with this guy

The thing I love about this kid is his team is maybe a C- D+ caliber team and they play a few decent teams as far as a talent stand point yet he doesnt skip a beat. When he is asked about certain situations in the game its always about what he can do for the team and how they rally together. HE IS A FOR SURE RKG!!

If you guys/gals get a few minutes you should look up his life story. He is more remarkable off the field than on. Great kid who has overcame a lot in life at such a young age. Ill be a fan of him IRISH or not.

The kid is without a doubt, a stud. The only question I have isn't necessarily about him, but the competition he plays. Southwest Missouri isn't known for producing much D-1 talent. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sure there are a lot of people that can cover a 6'6 kid who also runs a 4.4-second 40. But I'd love to see the kid play against a team with a safety that knocks the **** out of anyone going over the middle. With that said, I hope he goes to Notre Dame (or Mizzou).

sounds like a helluva prospect...may need a bit of work, but you cant work a kid into being 6-6, with 4.4 speed

This kid has looked amazing for two years now. He is already the #1 prospect in most scouting sites 2012 rankings. Tom Lemming said he is the best the player since Randy Moss in high school. That is saying something. He is more than the RKG, He it THE GUY. Kelly gets him and he can use him like moss was used at marshall and the pros. Throw and go get it.

The talent in SWMO isn't very good. The thing with Dorial is that on the field and on the court he dominates! He shows that the talent is low here by the way he man handles anyone in front of him. For more than a year might I add. All of that mixed with the work ethic this kid brings... WE MUST LAND HIM!!

Side Note: I think he will sign to play both football and basketball where ever he ends up.

Athletically he reminds me of John Baldwin. I'd take him in a heartbeat.

If he wants to play basketball too, it has to help us (at least a little) that we are giving Golson a chance to try both out, at least initially. I'm sure a lot of teams will tell him he has the chance, but with us there will be some evidence to the fact that we are true to our word in this regard.
