This place just isn't the same without them.

How about a untimely reinstatement Mods, Gods, Phammers, and minions of unknown origin with indefinite volumes, densities (which you could not have without other known variables [wtf?]), and masses?

I think BGIF is on his own dime, so to speak. But I miss him either way. This place will be unstoppable once we get them back even though others have tried like h e l l to replace the encyclopedia Notre Damica...

And Neutered... I lost your number somehow. Call me bud.

It was sometime ago. Specifics are unimportant. What is important is the fact we won out our season with great victories. The losses we had were hard on all of us and morale wasn't very high.

As one of USC's knuckleheads stated sometime ago (Havili), "When emotions are high, intelligence is low." That's the truest and most intelligent thing I've heard from USC'ers ever. Now the song girls have the mouths to utter marvelous things while they're muted... (Wrong place wrong time, I know)

people gotta take things said on this board with a grain of salt.

we're all just fans, some more positive than negative, some more negative than positive. but all fans of the same great team.

we butt heads from time to time but i would buy a beer for anyone on this board(even Phork!) because we're all kinda like family. hopefully bgif and neutered make it back soon. i always looked forward to both of their posts.

I definitely miss Neutered and BGIF. My understanding is that both of them want their breaks, though I have a feeling at least one of them shows up every now and then under a different name (good call on ND's defense Neutered!).

As for your other point, I was very disappointed that the song girls had rain jackets when we played them. Also, I noticed that the aesthetic appeal of ND's cheerleaders seems to be catching up to USCs.

This board is only as good as the personalities that inhabit it. The Mods have a really tough job, and have to try to keep order when they themselves are experiencing very human emotions. I see both sides here, I would love to have BGIF and Neutered back though... I have been a member since 2005 and miss those guys!

Being a relatively new member here, I don't expect my opinion to carry much, if any, weight. But, I lurked around here for a long time, and Neutered's funny comments, and my desire to respond, was one of the main reasons I joined up.

So, all respect to the administrator and moderators, but if there is any element of democracy on this board, I say "yea" to Neutered's return (and BGIF's, for that matter). You know, peace on earth and good will towards all, and all that.

But, like I stated, we were all in tiffs frequently with each other then (the losing streak). Morale was at an all time low. I had to take a few breaks.

Mods have rediculously tough jobs. We must all forgive and repent. We must become as children in order to see heaven. Kids forgive and forget pretty quickly on the playground. They say some pretty mean things too. When we metamorphasize into adults, we hold onto things and become fixated on really unimportant things that can be quite dangerous: lust, gluttony, greed, pride, sloth, wrath, and envy.

We, of course, only occasionally commit venial sins. Let us honor the lord, and let us forgive.

The deer, no offense to him, and I felt like we were "internet buds" but he just didn't contribute that often. It was always incoherent ramblings or cussing about a loss. They banned him and must have had a reason.

I have not been here as long as some, but I was here when this place was like the wild west and chaos reigned over order every day. There were fights and shootouts in the streets. Women weren't safe to walk the streets of I.E. alone. It was bedlam, I tell ya.

A rag tag band of brave souls stood up and took back I.E. for the betterment of everyone. Yes, they became mods. The did so at a time when law and authority were enough to get a man killed around here, but they stood their ground just the same.

I'll be honest, in some ways, this site isn't as fun as it was back in the days of lawlessness. Of course it is more fun to run around like a wild man, howl at the moon, shoot your guns in the air, and all that. However, this site is so much better overall because of those that stepped up to moderate this asylum.

The mods do an amazing job with zero in return. As much as I miss my good buddy Neutered and his Cracker Jacks (prize inside) I know that is a price we pay for the improvements that have been made here at I.E. I like being able to come on this site and leave my six shooters at home.

Neutered, I miss ya buddy. You know I am still here for you and I will keep in touch. BGIF, I hope you come back. You are missed and there are so many questions that go unanswered without your wealth of knowledge.

Structure is needed. Punishment must fit the crime with man's law. That's all we can hope for.

My first submission is to honor BGIF:

Anyone care to guess his IQ? I mean seriously. The guy is a freaking genius. How in the world can one man work better than google regarding references? PhD in the recruiting process from admissions to measurables regarding athletes... The guy scares me.

Maybe Kelly hires BGIF to replace Alford. And then Kelly hires Neutered to replace Longo.
