So with Hayes looking around, would it be too farfetched to say GAIII is now in the position to play some RB rather than slot? This actually kinda makes me happy. His highlights as a RB were TIIIZZZZZIIIIIGGGGGHHHHTTT.

I would be ok with that!!!

Side Note: What would be the possibility of him running some "wildcat" formation? Kid is such an athlete. I saw this mentioned somewhere by another poster (not sure which thread) and I was keen on the idea.
THOUGHTS???

I don't see why not. Let him duke it out with McDaniel (whom I assume will get offered and accept) over who plays RB.

He's not a slot receiver...he'd be playing on the outside a la Floyd. While he's not a monster, kid is bigger than you think...

Well, he could still play running back. Marcus Dupree was 6"3 about 235. lol

He is going to be more of an outside reciever but I could see the wildcat he is not really a runningback in Kelly's system

I understand that a couple of these guys have left a bad taste in our mouths we can't judge all the recuirts that way. I believe this young man and brother want to be here and play very good football together.

Every time they come up in the new posts, I don't even want to click the link. lol

I almost think the mods should just lock these things until January. Haha i get waaaaaay to worked up about recruiting. I mean were more concerned about a guy that might not even go to ND than we are about our biggest rivalry game of the year!

I said the same thing to myself today! I found myself in a pissy mood over all this recruiting crap and had to make myself snap out of it...for christ sake we're playing well and going into the biggest rivalry game of the season with a chance to win and play in a bowl. Possibly in my town!

Me as well. Then I realized that I should appreciate how our team has played these past two games and trust that Kelly and the rest of the staff will get the job done on the field and in recruiting players that fit the system.

George could play RB and several schools including USC and Bama were looking at him for RB

Sorry - don't want to cause anyone a heart attack by posting here. Just wanted to say I'm happy for George and his brother who are living it up in California after the win last night!

I dont think they were because they weren't taking officials anywhere. But I'm sure they hear about their decison non-stop from USC fans and I'm glad they have something to fire back with now. It's got to be sweet for them and sweet for Manti. I love a win but a win over USC or Michigan is so much more special than anything else.

Folks,
There is a mini-meltdown occurring on DomerDomain because of some news that G-III may take USC visit. There is a an article on his Rivals profile suggesting that USC is still chasing him hard and he may take a look. Don't have premium access, so I can see it all. I am blown away how USC can continue to recruit kids if they are supposed to have a 15 player max?!?!? Are they just freaking ignoring the NCAA sanctions???

Anyone have any more details on George?? I thought he and his brother were lock solid.

So what? Let him visit. Tuitt's going to visit GT and I have no worries.

It could be more of him just wanting to take advantage of a free trip? Hell I know I would have USC, FLA and TEX on my official visit list if I was sold on another school! That may just be me though.

I'm not too worried about us losing him or anyone else for that matter. We lost some big recruits earlier in the season when things were looking a little shaky, but with the way our team played and the direction our football program is headed, I honestly don't see us losing anyone else on our board. If anything, I would expect us to pick up another commitment or two before it's all said and done, perhaps (Carlisle, Williams).
