University of Miami @ the old Orange Bowl.

Absolutely ignorant, arrogant, uncouth, low class and belligerent. The fans bad mouthed not only ND, which I can handle, but they started on the Catholic Church, the Blessed Mother, etc., etc., etc.

a guy down the street paints the side parts of his yard orange and white checkers like UT endzones every 1st opening home game UT has. that schits annoying to look at.

Their fans are the reason I hate them so much. Most of them can't tell you who is on the team and the coaching staff. They can't tell you who their only Heisman Trophy winner is (Jim Capelletti), and how many National Championships they won (2), but they talk so much trash about how great they are. They're arrogant and ignorant. I've been dealing with those morons my entire life. They are the absolute worst.

i dont care for auburn fans either. they think they are still an elite team. and outside their defense they are nothing. but since they are in the sec they start ranked #13 in the nation every year, win 3-4 games in the sec and play a decent team in the bowl game and repeat the next year.

Coming from Western PA, I have had to deal with Pitt fans all my life, and while we haven't been relevant for a while, they haven't even been on the map for the past 28 years. You would never know this though if you had to be around one. They might not be the worst fans nationally but they are up there trust me. Besides, at one point they cheered for Mark May...

I think the night and day of CFB is this:

Best- Nebraska fans, loyal, softspoken, extremely respectful.

Worst- tOSU fans, complex ridden, arrogant, loud mouth and far too often violent (Sox Nation of CFB imo)

SC fans are SO "band wagon Laker fans"... they know NOTHING about the sport, its history or anything else, jump on the wagon during the good times, talk non stop shit like they have a right too, then completely abandon the sport when SC is down... SHOCKS me to think these same BWagon fans for the Lakers and Trojans are the same people wh support the Dodgers in millions no matter what the win loss record is... quite and interesting thing there

SC alums are something else too,... I have been to auctions that UCLA and USC have done for this or that and when the UCLA stuff is being bid on the SC alums will bid just to make the UCLA fans/alums pay huge amounts for their items, AND if they happen to out bid everyone to the point they win the bid they will just leave without the item... that is some smug rich dick shit to do...

LSU fans?? Only know them from TV really and yeah they do seem pretty bad, but have encountered VERY few in person so there you have that

Wow, I believe you , but this is the opposite of the experience I had in the late 80s. I was dating a UM student and went to all their home games. Even went to "the Rat" (on campus bar) and never really had any problems. I rooted for ND while sitting in the UM student section. Sure, I wasn't everyone's favorite, but it was harmless banter back and forth. Maybe it was because I had a lot of friends there...all UM students.

I went to the ND - AF Academy game back in 2005. There was some serious Catholic bashing going on. I was really surprised. In fact, I was quite embarassed at the time. I was active duty AF....still rooted for ND. But the fans were really pissing me off.

The reason I say Ohio st. is because I went to college in colombus(not osu) and my god are those people just ignorant. I love having intelligent conversation with oppossing fans but these people know nothing about their team. Also living in Florida we have a lot of snow birds from ohio. I was at a local minor league hockey game with my wife and was wearing my ND hat and this buckeye fan one row up kept effing taunting me!!! Completely and totally classless. We finally moved to a different section. He was not worth going to jail over. Something tells me he would have had no problem going to jail ignorantly defending his stupid team.

Sorry to disappoint....it's the amber....w/a lime. I rather enjoy it...and after 6 or 8 or so they all taste good!! I'm not sure I've tried the lager. Think I will next time.

It was on November 25, 1989. ND lost 27-10. the worst play was a 4th and about 31 on UM's approx. 9 yard line, and Miami got the 1st down on a pass to the right sideline. That play set the tone for the game. Before that play, ND was in the driver's seat. These fans were so crude that some of the Miami fans wouldn't let ND fans into the washrooms at halftime, especially seniors. There were some fights. I don't believe these particular fans were students because I was not near the student section.
