This is a huge game for us for recruiting, not just for Ishaq but for 2012 too. We need to close strong, and this kid is a key piece of that puzzle.

Won't that mean he has to leave right away for school since he is an EE?

That means whichever school would have to know before them so they can have a dorm ready right?

He was approved to be an EE here, doesn't mean he necessarily will enroll early.

Obviously a lot will depend on how the teams finish up - we need to be SC and win our bowl game, I think that will really help with recruiting.

According to Rivals he'll have 72 hours to enroll after the Army game. My assumption is that the coaching staff will be informed prior.

Using Notre Dame for the publicity.......he isn't coming.....just stringing ND along b/c it is better for ratings in the AA Game....

Do you have a basis for this? Why would Bama and USC not make his top 3 then? They're high profile teams as well. Quincy Aldridge was using us as leverage. I don't think Ishaq is considering he came here on his own dime in the summer.

And considering he is visiting again in December. He has shown an awful lot of interest to be stringing us along. Syracuse and Penn State are having down years and they are in his top 3.

If I were Ishaq, PSU's current recruiting class would scare the heck out of me. I'd rather be a solid part of a great class than the linchpin of crap.

Syracuse is a big player with him, he lived upstate when he was younger and his parents are Syracuse grads. We need to win out to improve our hopes with Ishaq and a bunch of other recruits.

I think that we have to atleast play really good against USC. And win the Bowl game to finish some of these guys off and sign with us.

You want the pie in the sky dreams have at it......just being realistic here, this is the same BS we see every year, the scouting magazines keep pushing these kids to have ND in their Top 5 b/c it sells subscriptions and web hits which drives what you can charge for advertising.....you see this every year with ND b/c nobody else is a national school and has a huge following. It's good to have dreams.....but the obsession some people get over players is unhealthy........Ishaq is a nice player but the level of competition is suspect....I'd worry more about keeping Truitt and HAggerty, they are the true studs in this class.

Honest question: How much better is the level of competition in New Mexico to the New York Metro area?

He's right guys...these high-rpofile players never pick us and only put us in their top 5 for pub. We never land guys like Jimmy Clausen, Michael Floyd, Manti T'eo, Ethan Johnson, Dayne Crist, Kyle Rudolph, Trevor Robinson, Matt James (RIP), Andrew Hendrix, etc etc. Those guys only use us and choose other schools...

Will announce at the AA game. His finalists are ND, PSU, and Syracuse. He has already applied for and been approved for EE at all 3 schools so it shouldnt be an issue

I shudder to even think you follow football........but let me educate you since you showed your ignorance.

Hagerty dominated at the combines against some of the top players in the west, he is arguably the #1 Tackle in the class. He put on a clinic against both speed and power rushers, go watch the videos, he just flat out dominated.

Ishaq is a real nice player but he's dominating football in Brooklyn NY.....if I really need to continue, you should turn in your college football fan card.

Thanks for playing.

Why be so rude? I didn't know what the levels of talent Hagerty played compared to Ishaq.
