This is probably the biggest gmae for us right now. The recruits that will be there are top notch and this could keep us playing late in the year or send us home early.
Haha thanks for supporting my fragile self esteem TT.
In other news... I need NYC road trip music for this Saturday. Suggestions anyone?
Ishaq may not be at the game. He has a playoff game earlier in the day and said he may not make it.

This game is huge on so many levels.
The primary reason this game is a must win is because...
We need the extra 15 practices.
Words can't describe how much help those practices would give ND!

Sheesh no one liked it when I posted it yesterday! :'( :'( :'(
I noticed Army has 153 players listed on the roster, is this the norm for the service academies to have this many?
I'd be happy to make some recommendations, but I doubt that they'd be taken to heart. Too much "classic" old shyte. The Who, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead and such.
Howsomever, I would recommend Edvard Greig's "In The Hall Of The Mountain King" as a frenetic lead in to the game and Beethoven's "Ode To Joy (9th Symphony) after an Irish victory.
Keep Truckin'!
Big Recruiting Weekend For the Irish

Just because the Irish aren’t playing at home this weekend doesn’t mean Saturday’s game isn’t a big recruiting weekend for the Irish. Notre Dame plans to have a large number of recruits watching the Irish play Army on Saturday.
Notre Dame’s game against Army is a fantastic opportunity for Brian Kelly and his staff to showcase their program to many top kids on the upper east coast on Saturday, and they’ve taken advantage of that opportunity.
When all is said and done, at least seventy 2011 and 2012 prospects will be in attendance. 2011 Irish commitment Connor Hanratty will certainly be there, but so will key 2011 targets Ishaq Williams and Savon Huggins. Both players are also bringing a number of top prospects from their current team, who will also watch Notre Dame on Saturday.
Kelly and recruiting coordinator Chuck Martin saw Saturday’s game as a great opportunity and invited many elite prospects and a number plan to show up on Saturday. The idea was to schedule games in talent-rich areas, and the New York area certainly has plenty of talent. Kelly and Martin plan to take full advantage of the unique opportunity a game such as this provides.
The Notre Dame coaching staff isn't allowed to speak with these top targets on Saturday, but the opportunity to showcase the Irish program in front of such a large audience of top prospects who might not ever get the chance to see Notre Dame play in person otherwsie was too great an opportunity for Notre Dame to pass up.
Some elite 2012 prospects will also be in attendance. Here's a small sample of those attending.
6-foot-1, 210-pound quarterback Casey Cochran will be in attendance. Cochran has an early offer from Boston College, and a lot of interest from teams around the east coast and beyond. The Monroe, Ct. quarterback should be one of the better quarterbacks in the area in 2012.
6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive end Ryan Watson will also be in attendance. Watson has already picked up early offers from Georgia Tech, Stanford, Purdue, Maryland and West Virginia among others. Watson hails from famed Good Counsel high school in Olney, Md.
6-foot, 185-pound athlete Devin Fuller will also attend the game on Saturday. Fuller has offers from Boston College and Rutgers under his belt already and is just starting to explode on the recruiting scene. The Old Tappen, N.J. prospect should have a bunch of offers by the time signing day rolls around and the 2012 recruiting season really starts to heat up.
6-foot-5, 270-pound offensive lineman Ryan Brodie will also be at the game. The Long Branch, N.J. native has a Rutgers offer already, and many more should on the way soon.
Finally, Clairton, Pa. wide receiver Trenton Coles will also be in Yankee Stadium on Saturday night watching the Irish. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound receiver already has a Pitt offer and interest from a number of elite schools in the midwest and east coast.
These are just a few of the top prospects expected to be at Saturday’s game. Check back with Irish Sports Daily after the game for updates on these prospects and other attending Saturday’s game.
Actually, the Who "Won't Get Fooled Again" might be perfect for this game. The option, get it? Aw, hell, I know. Forget it.
Good call. Cranking up the The Who tunes as I type. "I Can See For Miles" would be good, too. "Going Mobile" for the drive, with a rousing "Happy Jack" to celebrate a victory.
"... and I get on my knees and pray, we don't get fooled again!"
Just as long as it isn't the Stones' "(I can't get no) Satisfaction."
Agreed. And not "19th Nervous Breakdown." I'll go with "Under My Thumb."

Nd leprechaun and cheerleaders rang the bell at the stock exchange. Pep rally at the Lincoln center. Playing the fight song in Times Square.
