Tulsa ranks 28th overall in passing yards per game, 16th overall in rushing yards per game and 11th in average points per game (38.4).

I'm going Tulsa 42 ND 27

I like this guy. I agree with you. Thats why I cheer for a real team now. Funny part is, is that a down year for Oregon is still a better year than a "Good" year for ND. The football program is a joke. They are the Clippers and the Lions of college football. LOL

His name is Theo Riddick. JJ Reddick played guard for Duke and is now in the NBA

I really thought this would be a game won by Notre Dame by a large margin, but the way we played against Navy yesterday has me questioning this weekend. I'm still saying Notre Dame wins this game and I hope they do, because losing two straight weeks to Navy and then Tulsa would really highlight how far we have to go before we are good again.

Hopefully they all watch some video and learn from it. But with this passing offense we need our offense to show up because it is going to be high scoring

It all starts with Crist...he needs to rally the troops on O...I guess Floyd not playing says something about the O leardership. And as important Teo needs to rally the D....it is really really going to hurt to have Willams out of the lineup...I think he was 1 of the two leaders on D.

This game will speak volumes of the toughness and character of this team...I for one think they will step up!

Southwest: I'll direct this note to you, since you are one of the most sensible posters on these threads. Losing Ian is horrible. I'm hoping that the defense rises up when one of the family goes down, as I've seen it before a lot of times --- doesn't usually last more than the next game, though. As far as D-leadership is concerned, we'll be mediocre there but we've always been mediocre. The leaders have been Te'o [though he doesn't seem suited to it] and Harrison Smith, who calls the adjustments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------As far as leadership on offense is concerned, there's only been one guy : Armando Allen. He's the guy we need to get healthy if we want any emotional leadership. Crist can't do it. He's worried too much about his own problems, and I'm not sure that he has the personality either. All the commentary about Dayne becoming a leader has been psychology as far as I can tell. We need Armando, and frankly it's about time some lineman stepped up to this job too. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I, like you, am a guarded optimist. Whether we improve this coming game, who knows?, but I keep the faith that the outlines of good things are there.

I really hope our team comes out this weekend with a pissed off attitude. They need to rally together and beat Tulsa handily.

I have yet to see a Brian Kelly team come out of the tunnel fired up. Yeah they run, but they are'nt fired up. Go back and watch the Lou Hotz days and you will see a team run from the tunnel fired up. Ahhhh yes, the good old days when ND used to win.

I think those of us that remember the Holtz days really miss that intensity and ball of fire attitude. I just want our team to play with more emotion this weekend.

If Kelly truly beleives Tulsa is the biggest game of his coaching career, then he truly is not the coach for Notre Dame. ND is the only team that has not improved with each suceeding game. Look at the improvement in Mich. St. since the opening game. We need an offensive and defensive line coaching staff who have div. 1 experience and can develope the players to improve.....maintaining the status quo will only result in more losses. We have very good RB but no holes to run through. I will give Kelly one more year and if we don't win 8 games in 2011, we need to chuck him and guit making excuses like we did for Weiss.

Not sure why I just tortured myself, but i just watch USC/ND Bush Push game.

Even thought the game is 5 years old, while I was watching it I was still hoping ND could pull out the W. 4th and 9 a killer as well, geez.

Anyway, didnt think a new thread was necessary for that- just wanted to share that.

I am hoping the stats DO lie with regards to Tulsa's offensive attack. (I guess I had to add something relvant to this thread.)

Michigan State should have lost to Northwestern. They needed a couple of lucky bounces and another fake to beat a team full of 2 star athletes.

But I agree on coaching up the lines. Not sure why they aren't more effective?

He says this is the biggest game he will coach becasue he knows that if it is like last week he will lose alot odf support. Which he Doesn't want to do. We will see how good our coaching are about forgeting about last week and focusing on the oppent ahead of us.

This Tulsa game is a big game because it will show this team will respond after such a horrible showing against Navy. BK knows he must get his team motivated and in the right frame of mind.
