Go to your country clubs, your gated communities and have a good chuckle about the good men and women who suffer so you can sit on your healthily padded backsides and enjoy the heartless gameplay you call "football" in South Bend. I'll still have served, and will wear my N with more pride than you'll ever know.
You know its gonna be a weird night when a Navy fan starts talking trash.
He may be the first Navy troll over.
1st Recon BN USMC 5 Years... Where were you at? both?... yea...me too..LOL
2nd Recon BN; Semper Fi!
The Navy sure did provide us good transportation and entertainment, didn't it?
Im gettng in my BMW and waiting on the gate to open at the end of my newly paved driveway that leads to my newly built 450,000 house that I build myself with a degree from ND and Im off to the country club. I hope these new 5,000 dollar pings do the job or I will be furious to the utmost extent.

He is probably watching The Hunt for the Red October right now and jerking off...
I will go on the record in saying the Navy Corpsmen have the biggest pair on the field... those guys aren't appreciated enough for their insane bravery... I have literally seen a corpsman taking rounds all around him, with no cover, and his back turned... not even flinching to save a Marine.
My suppervisor is a Marine Major and the one Navy LT or LT CDR in our building was a corpsman. He was saying no one messes with a unit's corpsman. They protect him like a big brother would. Pretty Cool stuff.
"relegated to paid service of their nation on the front lines of war"
I surprised someone living in 1944 has internet access.
Today I learned that Navy has a fan...
...and he is c-RAZ-y.

Yes they did, and they blew us kisses as we went to do the job..... I fought with some Fine Naval Operators.... I give them no disrespect...and I don't mean to give any to our Naval forces.... but he fired me up with his "Ten Year" commitment Crap.
For 43 straight years, from 1964 to 2006, Navy walked off the field of play with the Fighting Irish in defeat. For 43 straight years, a nation of mindless Notre Dame fans, minds filled with the fictions of “Rudy” and the lisped warblings of Lou Holtz, watched their prejudices validated every November - and slept peacefully in the knowledge that no matter their own personal inadequacies, their boys in blue and gold (colors which we had first anyways) would triumph over those haggard souls relegated to paid service of their nation on the front lines of war. But then it all ended. And the opponent they least suspected rose up and delivered a long overdue comeuppance - on the their own home turf, no less. Two years later, we did it again. And on Saturday, with the arrival of a new coach and a few cupcake victories having stoked the fires of South Bend entitlement once more, good will again triumph over evil, hard work and heart will again triumph over birthright and apathy, this year’s Matt Coutures will watch their ill-fated season ended at the hands of real warriors, and maybe, just maybe they’ll realize that’s the way it should have been all along.
GO NAVY, BEAT NOTRE DAME!
Looked up our troll. He's actually a well-accomplished, intelligent guy. Too bad he couldn't express himself in such a manner.
Here's a kicker for our departed friend. He's a Stanford-educated lawyer who worked two years in Big Law where he earned $145,000 as a base salary his first year. To be sure, the guy had to work hard to get to where he is, but my oh my the irony in calling us out as country clubbers and gated community folk.
So what? A troll is a troll.
As far as the country clubber stuff, I'm country. Grew up on a farm, still live in a rural area where I would never trade it for any big city or suburban area.
My point wasn't to defend the guy. I'm the one who gave him the boot, mind you.
My point was that it's ironic for someone who is clearly well-to do to accuse others of being materially shallow.
I gave 3 years in the Army on the front lines. Yeah it was not 10 years like you but at least I was'nt hiding in a submarine under water. This guy is probly just some poor 45 year old guy living in the basement of his mom and pops place who happens to like Navy. Sheesh. Lets start talking crap after saturday. We will see.
