I thought of this because Golden didn't even see the field for Seattle on Sunday.

How good would Golden have been if he had stayed for just one more year? I think he would've the perfect wide receiver for this offense.

He would have been great in TJ or Rid****'s role, no doubt

Tate would probably be at 1000 yards receiving right now.. I can't blame him for leaving as we all know about the fear of injury. But I have to say he might have moved up higher had he stayed.

Man ...when I think about Tate I either drool or weep. He would've been incredible and made us so much better! He did so many things and had such a swagger of confidence it would've rub off on the younger players...god I miss him!!

The few times he did it...he probably would've thrown the ball better than Reese or Montana

lets be honest tate would be good in any system. he is just a hard nose football player that gives his best when he is on field.

Imagine...

Floyd and Jones wide
Tate in the slot
Rudolph at TE
Armando at HB

The spread would be literally unstoppable. It would make video game numbers on easy look bad.

Tate would have been great, if they could get the ball on him! It's just a matter of time, but JC let routes develop.... DC is just about there... that 95 yarder to Rudy was just the start for him.

While we're at it, imagine this line-up at the O skill positions:

QB: Kevin McDougal
RB: Reggie Brooks
WRs: Tate, Rocket, Derrick Mayes
TE: Irv Smith

...I loved Kevin McDougal...even more so after what our current #2s did this last weekend...the guy wasn't supposed to be the guy...and he became the man! Thats next man in right there...
